This two mile hike (one way) spans some of the most important areas in Boulder’s history. The hike will take you about 1.5 hours to take. You can take part of the hike from Eben Fine Park to the library and then get back in your car and continue driving west to the first parking lot on your left up Canyon to complete the tour, since there are not any paintings between Eben FIne and the parking area ___ miles up from 6th and Canyon. Here is what you do to take the hike: To take the tour you will need a GPS application on your smart phone capable of displaying location in latitude and longitude or you can just follow along the trail and look for the scene. In many instances scenes were photographed and painted in different seasons...which makes it all the more fun to try and find the spot where I painted. Follow the directions and GPS coordinates to find the location where the painting was created. Every phone is different, so your longitude and latitude numbers might differ from each other. The pictures printed on the map should lead you to the exact spot where they were painted. Keep in mind that many of the pictures may have been painted in a different season or/and at different heights. Please stay on the trail as these are environmentally sensitive areas.
