the Post Impressionists, the color and variety found

in plant life have long served as artistic inspiration.

BOTANICA asks artists to draw on this history to create

artwork that explores how plant life can be represented

Paper Poppies Workshop with Tiffanie Turner Sunday, August 30, 10 am – 1:30 pmSign up required, limited space available.

Workshop fee $60 (includes admission to Botanica).

Light breakfast and coffee will be provided.

In this workshop, Botanica artist Tiffanie Turner will teach

you how to make your own Icelandic poppies in your

choice of crepe paper, complete with bursting sepals.

These poppies can be displayed on their own or worked

into floral crowns and garlands. If time allows, Tiffanie will

also demonstrate selected other specimens in paper.

Chase! Our talented volunteer

Docents conduct group tours for

children grades K-12, completing

each visit with a hands-on art

project. Scout troops, school

groups, summer camps and clubs

are also invited to take a tour! Tours

are $85 all other groups. We now

offer Art in a Suitcase, in-class art

workshops for grades K-5.

Adult group tours are also available

by appointment.
