Phil Housley is in his first season behind the bench for the Sabres after being named the 18th head coach in Buffalo’s franchise history. The Hockey Hallof Famer and former Sabres defenseman is the seventh alumnus to serve as the team’s head coach. Housley joined the Sabres after helping to guide the Nashville Predators to their first ever Stanley Cup Final appearance in 2016.
