1EXT. RESIDENTIAL LOCALITY – EARLY MORNING
It’s still dark all around. The camera spans the dark building when suddenly we hear... SFX – the sound of various alarms going off almost at the same time. There’s a cacophony of various sounds...
The 1st window. Light in one of the windows comes on. The camera starts to go closer to the window as we hear a voice from the window.
MAN’S VOICEChalo utho beta.
A KID’S VOICE REPLIESBaad mein.
MAN’S VOICEAaj adventure camp ke liye nahin jana kya?
KID’S VOICEBaad mein!
MAN’S VOICEBus chali jayegi
KID’S VOICEBaad mein
And then we hear a grunt as if someone is lifting something heavy and a LOUD SPLASH. WE HEAR THE KID WAKING UP SCREAMING.
KID’S VOICEDad yeh... yeh... yeh aapne mujhe poora geela kar diya!
MAN’S VOICEChalo, lage haathon nahana bhi ho gaya, ab seedhe kapde badal lo.
Slowly the camera leaves the first window and moves to another one.
INTERCUT:
2TIGHT CLOSE UP/MONTAGE – INT. OR EXT.
We see a montage of very stylish shots. It’s like Rambo getting ready for war.
A zip on a handbag is opened.
A belt buckle is tied. A zip on a pant is pulled up.

INTERCUT:
WE REACH THE 2nd window.
The light in the window is on and we hear loud gargling and aakkh thoo thoo sounds.
PARENTS’ VOICETum brush kar rahe ho ya paani mein doob rahe ho. Chup chaap brush karo nahin to poori building jag jayegi.
3rd window
We move to another window. Another window light is on. We hear a girl’s VO talking to her mother.
GIRL’S VOICEMom mera digital cam kahan hai?
MOM’S VOICECamera-case mein.
GIRL’S VOICECamera-case kahan hai,
MOM’S VOICEBag mein.
GIRL’S VOICEBag kahaan hai?
MOM’S VOICEBed pe.
GIRL’S VOICEBed kahan hai? Ohh voh to mujhe pata hai.
INTERCUT the above sequence with the following shots
Someone wears a pair of black goggles.
Someone ties his shoes.
Someone puts a sharp folding knife in his pocket
BACK ON ... 4th window
We hear a sudden scream. SFX – AHHHHHHHHHHH.

KID’S VOICE Arre kaka tum phir darr gaye. Maine kaha na nakli saanp hai. Har baar isse dekh ke darr jaate ho.
KAKAEee sasura nakli saanp hoi to asli kaisan hoi? Dhurrr... ab eee saanp bhi aapan saath le jaaib ka?
KID’S VOICEHaan. Saaman mein rakh do.
KAKATo eeka sambhaal ke rakhna bachua, kahin koi saanpni eeka uda ke na le jaayi!
Now we move to another building. Its door opens and a smartly dressed boy with a scarf around his neck and a neatly packed bag steps out.
He turns back to the door and salutes his dad whom we don’t see. We hear the dad’s VO.
DAD VOGood luck son. Apne adventure camp mein achcha perform karna. Ab jao. O 500 hrs pe tumhara gate pe rendezvous hai. Best of luck.
The son salutes and marches away.
INTERCUT:
Someone opens a gun and puts in bullets. He closes the gun and puts it in his belt.
And last of all, someone takes a Lotpot comic and keeps it in his bag.

BACK ON...
We follow the boy (VIKRAM) as he walks out of the gate.
3EXT. ROAD – EARLY MORNING
Vikram walks out and comes and stands by the roadside. He looks at his watch and it’s almost 6 o clock.
VIKRAM TO HIMSELFBas 10 second reh gaye. 10 9 8 7 6...(we see a bus approaching)5 4 3... 2... 1
And the bus comes to a stop right in front of him just as he says 1. Right on time.
We see the bus has a large banner ‘Royal Adventure Camp’ written on it.
The bus doors are pulled open and from inside Jarnail Singh (the bus driver-cum-adventure-camp-helper-cum-cook) steps out. Just then a whistle is heard from inside the bus.
So loud is the whistle that Jarnail almost jumps in the air.
TIGHT CLOSE UP OF THE WHISTLE – we pull back from it and see a beautiful woman blowing the whistle. She’s dressed in a T shirt and stretch jeans.
This is Komal madam and we see her fully as she steps out of the bus (she’s the instructor, beautiful and tough, very disciplined just like Vikram, always on time, always perfect and poised).
Vikram salutes her she responds like a superior officer. Vikram salutes Jarnail too and Jarnail does the salute all wrong.
KOMAL TO JARNAILJarnail, salute karna bhi nahin aata tumhein? Kitni baar sikhaya hai.
JARNAILMadam, main sab kuch fauji ki tarah kar sakta hoon, bas salute aur marching nahin hoti mujhse. Issi liye to aapke jaise fauji nahin ban paya. Adventure camp ka Asst-Instructor ban ke reh gaya.
KOMAL Ok, ok. Waise saari tayiyaari ho gayi?

JARNAIL (POINTS SKYWARDS)Bhagwaan ne sab kar liya.
KOMAL (takes out a check list)tent rakh liye?
JARNAIL (POINTS SKYWARDS)Bhagwaan ne kar liya
KOMALKhana? Matlab daal chawal, phoa, eggs?
JARNAIL (POINTS SKYWARDS)Bhagwaan ne kar liya.
KOMALMedicine kit? Nayi medicines rakhi usmein?
JARNAIL (POINTS SKYWARDS)Bhagwaan ne kar liya
VIKRAM (AMAZED) Bada vishwaas hai bhagwaan pe aapko? Sab kuch ussi pe hi chod diya hai?
JARNAILHaan, haan Bhagwaan bahut achcha hai, usse sab kuch maine hi to sikhaya hai.
VIKRAM (SURPRISED)Bhagwaan ko aapne sikhaya hai?
Just then we see a man appears at the top of the bus doing some work.
JARNAILHaan aur kya! Aur yeh raha Bhagwaan.
VIKRAM (LOOKS UP)Ohhh, yeh hai Bhagwaan?
Vikram nods understanding. And as he turns to keep his bag he sees Bhagwaan standing right next to him.
VIKRAM IS STARTLED Aap to oopar...

(Bhagwaan is very quiet when he walks, he’s suddenly there when you call for him, and whenever anyone exclaims hey Bhagwaan he replies yes).
Bhagwaan takes Vikram’s bag...
KOMAL TO VIKRAM Tum to time pe aa gaye. But where’s everyone else?
VIKRAMHuhh, civilians. Late as always. Indian standard time pe aayenge.
INTERCUT WITH TWO MEN DRESSED SMARTLY WALKING OUT AND looking at the bus from a distance.
BACK ON Jarnail and Bhagwaan who put the bag in the back of the bus. Out of sight Jarnail says to Bhagwaan.
JARNAILIdhar khujlana.
Bhagwaan takes out the jack of the bus and scratches Jarnail’s back and he makes moaning sounds as he enjoys it. Just then Komal walks up and sees this. Quickly Bhagwaan pretends to be checking the jack.
Just then a sleepy kid walks up. This is Krishh.
KOMAL Arre Krishh tumhein kya hua?
KRISHH (SLEEPY)Logon ko bed tea milti hai. Mujhe apne parents se bed bath mila aaj!
Suddenly Komal whistles loudly and Krishh is suddenly awake.
KOMALKrishh, adventure camp pe sote hue bhi aankhein khuli rakhni chahiye!
Krishh massages his ear and nods. A bit shaken up the Krishh turns and suddenly finds Bhagwaan standing right next to him. He’s startled. Bhagwaan takes Krishh’s bag but Krishh doesn’t let go.
KRISHHNahin, bag main apne pass hi rakhoonga.

Bhagwaan lets go of it as more kids walk up. We see the well poised Neha, the nerdy and scared Surya, the beautiful Jenny and the prankster Sudipto walk up.
KOMALHello kids.
ALLHello maam.
Bhagwaan starts to take their bags. Sudipto has a box in his hand which he offers to Surya.
SUDIPTOMithai khani hai?
As Surya opens the box a snake pops out and Surya yells in panic. Sudipto laughs and takes the box back. Komal again blows the whistle.
KOMAL Come on guys. jaldi jaldi karo... move it, move it.
CUT TO fast shots of more kids coming in. Neha is shooting everything and the other kids pose for her.
Komal ticks the names.
KOMALSab aa gaye, bas ek bacha hai.
VIKRAM Aur voh hoga Sumeet! The evil one!
KOMALAb uska aur wait nahin kar sakte. Come on guys.
NEHAWow, Sumeet ke bina adventure camp! Awesome!
She smiles and the other kids do hi-5 with her. They all hurry into the bus.
4INT. BUS - MORNING
SUDIPTOChalo, jaldi karo. Kahin voh tapak na pade. JALDI JALDI...

Quickly they take their seats.
SLOW MOTION - Jarnail puts the key in the ignition and turns. The bus roars to life. He puts it into gear and the bus moves forwards. All the kids scream yaaayyyyyyyyyyyy.
SURYA Thank God Sumeet se bach gaye.
And just then the bus lurches forward and comes to an abrupt stop. Everyone sees a large car has come and stopped right in front of the bus.
5EXT. ROAD - MORNING
THE CAMERA MOVES TOWARDS THE CAR. The chauffeur steps out and runs to open the back door.
KIDS (VO) Ohhh no... aa gaya villain.
And from the car steps out a boy. WE SEE HIS SHOES. THEN THE CAMERA MOVES TO REVEAL THE KID. HE’S wearing goggles and rich clothes.
The camera moves back to show the kid – this boy is Sumeet. Presented as a villain. Bhagwaan runs to him. Sumeet clicks his finger and says...
SUMEETHey you, kya naam hai tumhara?
BHAGWAANBhagwaan.
SUMEETJo bhi ho, mera bag peeche se nikalo. (Bhagwaan goes to take his knapsack)arre mere peeche se nahin, you idiot. Gaadi ke peech se.
BHAGWAANAap aur saaman laaye ho?
Bhagwaan opens the car’s trunk and we see it full of bags.
BAGWAANBaarat ka saaman to aa gaya, baarat kahan hai?
Komal and Jarnail too walk out.

KOMALWhat’s all this, maine kaha tha na har bachche ke saath sirf ek bag hoga. Yeh bag tumhein yahin chodne padenge. Sirf kapde le kar chalo.
SUMEETSirf kapde hi to hain! Aur thode games, aur music system, and some snacks, you know, little-little things!
JARNAILArre aap koi ek bag uthao aur chalo. Time garbage ho raha hai.
SUMEETHey you, tumhara naam kya hai?
JARNAIL (PROUDLY)Jarnail Singh Shamsher Singh Sidhwana.
SUMEETPoori family ka naam hai yeh sirf tumhara? (Jarnail fumes)Chalo, tum jo bhi ho, tumse baat nahin kar raha main.
Komal whistles loudly and everyone massages their ears.
KOMAL (TO SUMEET’S DRIVER)Suniye aap yeh sab saaman le ke wapas jaiye. (to Sumeet)get on the bus now!(chalo Jarnail)waise hi pandrah minute der ho chuki hai. We’re running behind schedule.
She turns and walks away. Jarnail and Bhagwaan too get in the bus. Summet sees that they really are leaving. He too quickly runs and gets on the bus with only one bag as it moves away.
As the bus starts to move we see behind it two men pretend to be peeing in the bushes, as the bus moves they turn around. Now we see them fully for the first time.

They are Boss and Chaman. Both look smart. They look at each other and nod. Smartly they walk to their bikes. Chaman takes out his keys and smartly puts it in the ignition. Smartly he turns it on and then kicks. But unsmartly the bike starts, then sputters phut phut and dies. Boss looks at Chaman and makes an impatient face.
Smartly Chaman kicks again. The bike goes phut phut again but doesn’t start. Now all the coolness goes and Chaman starts to kick wildly. The bus is almost gone out of sight.
Boss makes a face and pushes Chaman aside. Chaman moves away. Boss stands next to the bike. Extends his hand, cracks his fingers, and knuckles. And then taking a deep breath he kicks and the bike roars to life. Chaman is amazed. Boss sits down on the front seat. Chaman wipes the back seat with his hanky very carefully.
BOSSArre chal na Chaman kahin ka. Jaldi kar.
Quickly Chaman jumps on the back seat and says.
CHAMANChalo boss... Gaddhe bacha ke.
And the bike zips off after the bus. As the bike moves away we catch a glimpse of a gun stuck in Boss’s belt!
6IN THE BUS – DAY
The kids are chatting away busy in their own thing.
Neha is shooting. She shoots all the kids one by one. Sudipto makes a funny face.
The camera goes to Surya who become very conscious and stiff. The camera goes to Jenny she doesn’t react to it chewing the bubblegum.
The camera goes to Krishh who’s still sleeping. The camera goes to Sumeet who shows a punch to the camera angrily. The camera goes to Vikram who salutes the camera.
Suddenly Neha removes the camera and looks at Krishh. She lets out a giggle and everyone turns to look at him. We see Sudipto has put a ladies Bindi on Krishh’s forehead but he doesn’t know it. Krishh looks funny.
Everyone laughs out as Krishh still sleeps.

Just then Komal who was checking the schedule and doing some work turns and sees the kids chatting and laughing. She stands up and looks at them. Then, slowly takes out her whistle and blows it hard.
So loud is the whistle that Krishh falls out of his seat. He wakes up and looks around. Suddenly the kids are all quiet. They turn to face Komal who begins to speak as she walks down the bus’ aisle.
KOMALGood morning kids. Main hoon apki instructor aur friend Komal Mansingh. Aur mere saath hain mere co-instructors Jarnail Singh Shamsher Singh Sidhwana aur Bhagwaan Lal Tiwari. Aur main aap sab ko yahan, is adventure camp mein, tahe dil se swaagat karti hoon. Kids, welcome to Royal Adventure Camp!(she says these words with such panache, such power and such confidence that the kids watch spellbound)Agle teen dinon mein aap aisa kuch experience karenge jo aapki zindagi badal dega. Iss adventure camp ke baad aap bachche nahin rahenge. Aapka bachpan khatam. Aur aapki adult life shuru ho jayegi. Aap young adults ban jayenge.
At this some of the kids clap excitedly and soon all kids except for Sumeet clap and whistle.
KOMAL (CONT’D)Yaad rahe yeh ek adventure camp hai, aur yahan - discipline is everything. Yahan hum three musketeeers ka naara apnayenge - one for all and all for one. We will stay together, work togther, do all the tasks together, and have fun together!(again some kids clap excitedly)Chalo, moving ahead, ab mere co-instructor, Mr. Bhagwaan aap sab ko camp ke rules samjhayenge.
Bhagwaan stands up with a list and begins to read.

BHAGWAAN Rule number one. Jab Komal madam whistle bajayengi tab sabko gaur se inki baat sunni hai.
SUMEETHum aadmi hain ki kutte?
Some kids laugh. Komal sees Sumeet.
KOMAL TO SUMEETMr. Sumeet, khade hoiye please. Yeh bataiye, team ka kya matlab hota hai?
SUMEETTeam ka matlab hota hai baaki sab woh karein jo main kahoon. I have always been a leader, never a follower.
Some of the kids laugh at this.
KOMAL Koi problem nahin, there’s always a first time. Agle kuch dinon mein main aapko teamwork aur discipline ka matlab samjhaoongi. Umeed hai ki aapka dimaag bhi aapki zabaan ki tarah tez hoga.
SUMEET (SMILES/CHALLENGING)Aaj tak to koi mujhe kuch sikha nahin paaya, let’s see!!!
Sumeet stares into Komal’s eyes and she smiles confidently!
7EXT. ROAD - DAY
Boss is on the bike alone and he’s talking to a vacant backseat.
BOSS To plan samjha mein aa gaya na Chaman? Aaj ke baad hum ameer honge, bade bhaaiy honge! Hamara naam bhi India’s most wanted mein liya jayega... samjhe? Chaman?
There’s no reply and Boss looks back to see the backseat vacant. He stops the bike and turns back to see that Chaman has fallen off the bike. Chaman runs up limping.

CHAMAN (HOLDING HIS BACK)Gir gaya main boss. Kaha tha na gaddhe bacha ke.
BOSSBahut gira hua aadmi hai tu Chaman.
Quickly he gets on the bike again and almost falls off as it zips away.
8BACK IN THE BUS – DAY
Bhagwaan is still reading the itnerary
BHAGWAAN (STILL BRIEFING)12.30 pe hum lunch ke liye rukenge. 1.30 tak lunch, phir shaam ko 4 baje hum pahunchenge Kolad, apne adventure camp. 9 baje dinner and dus baje bed time.
KOMALThank you for the itenrary Bhagwaan.
Bhagwaan sits down and Komal stands up again and just then she turns to Krishh and looks at his bindi.
KOMALMr. Krishh, aapne yeh bindi kyun lagayi hui hai?
KRISHH LOOKS AROUNDKya? Maine? Bindi?
SUDIPTOKomal madam, jaise Scotish men skirts pehente hain waise hi Kirshh bindi lagata hai.
Everyone laughs. Komal takes the bindi off Kirshh’s forehead and tells him...
KOMALMr. Krishh, bindi aur chudiyaan pehanna is trip mein allowed nahin. For boys or girls!
Everyone laughs again and Krishh gets up fuming. He turns to Sudipto.

KRISHHMujhe pata hai tune hi yeh kiya hai Sudipto, main tere ko chodoonga nahin!
Krishh is about to fight him when Komal pulls them away from each other.
KOMALNo fights, remember we are a team.
Krishh calms down. Suddenly Jenny speaks up.
JENNYKisi ko ghar chitthi post karni hai? Letter box khula hai yahin bus mein?
NEHALetter box? Yahan bus mein?
Jenny points to Krishh’s zip. And he sees that his zip is open. Quickly he pulls up the zip as everyone laughs again.
NEHA That’s the spirit guys. Thoda hansi mazaak to shuru hua. Magar kisi ka mazaak udana achcha nahin. Main batoon best comedians kaun hote hain?
NEHAKaun maam.
KOMALVoh jo apna mazaak khud udaate hain! Make fun of yourself and you will enjoy the journey called life.
The kids shout excitedly and a song starts in the background...
9EXT. ROAD/BIKE – SAME TIME/DAY
Shots of Chaman and Boss following on the road. They see the kids enjoying.
CHAMANInko masti karte dekh mujhe bhi apna bachpan yaad aa gaya. Remand home mein hum bhi kitni masti karte they, hai na boss?

BOSSMujhe to dande padte rehte they. Tere ko hi maza aata hoga!
INTERCUT WITH THE BUS... song in the background. Kids enjoying. Sumeet alone listens to music on his ipod.
10INT/EXT. BUS AND ROAD - LATER... ON A RED LIGHT
The bus has stopped. The kids are being naughty. Sudipto is chewing a bubblegum. He looks out of the bus window and sees Chaman and another biker standing alongside on the road. He spits out a chewing gum so that it falls on the biker outside. And throws its wrapper on Chaman.
The chewing gum falls on the biker outside and he turns to see who has thrown it on him.
Sudipto hides and the driver sees Chaman next to him with the wrapper on the bike’s fuel tank.
BIKERHey, mere par chewing gum kyun daali. Bata hoon tere ko.
The biker reaches out to catch Boss and Chaman and Boss drives away. We see this incident has been shot by Neha on her handycam.
11INT. BUS - LATER
Surya is wearing glasses sitting behind Sudipto. He gets up and reaches for his bag. He puts his hand in and takes out a snake. A girl sitting next to him cries out in horror and begins to scream.
GIRLSaanp, saanp, saanp.
All the other kids look at the snake and begin to shout and scream. Vikram comes up and bravely snatches the snake and throws it out of the bus and it lands on Chaman’s face.
12EXT. ROAD/BIKE - DAY
Boss sees the snake and begins to panic. Chaman too is scared and Boss looses his balance as he brakes. The bike skids and almost falls.
Quickly Chaman jumps off the bike and starts to uncoil the snake that’s around his neck. He takes the snake and throws it to Boss who catches it and looks at it carefully.

BOSSBe chaman kahin ke, ye to rubber ka hai!
BACK IN THE BUS that has stopped as Jarnail heard the screaming...
VIKRAMKya? Rubber ka saanp tha?
SURYAHaan! US se uncle ne bheja tha. It cost a bomb. Mujhe wapas chahiye. Or my dad will kill me.
VIKRAM Sorry.
KOMALBhagwaan jao, voh rubber ka saanp wapas le aao. Quick.
13EXT. ROAD - DAY
Bhagwaan runs back some distance and looks around for the snake. He sees one in the bushes. He picks it up and runs back to the bus.
BACK IN THE BUS...
THE BUS starts moving and Bhagwaan hands the snake back to Surya who takes it and looks at it.
SURYAArre yeh mera saanp nahin, yeh to asli hai.
The girls scream once again and Vikram quickly comes and again throws the real snake out of the window.
Once again it falls on Chaman as he’s sitting behind Boss who’s driving by the side of the bus trying to overtake it.
CHAMANArre yeh nakli saanp kyun phenk rahe hain.
He takes the snake and gives it to Boss. Boss takes the snake and then looks closely.
BOSSAbbey chaman kahin key, yeh asli hai!

And once again Boss slams on the brakes. The bike skids to a halt and Boss throws the snake on Chaman who begins to almost fight with it as it sticks to him.
IN THE BUS... there’s chaos as kids talk.
SURYAMagar mera rubber snake?
KOMALAb hum aur nahin ruk sakte Surya. Keep driving Jarnail.
Surya sulks and starts to read his thick big book of snakes of the subcontinent. He hates Vikram for throwing his snake.
MONTAGE – kids having fun.
Sumeet sees a kid next to him eating something from the lunchbox. He’s feeling hungry as his food bag wasn’t allowed on the bus. He gestures, give your lunchbox to me. The kid gives him quietly and Sumeet eats it.
The boys are being naughty and hit the girls with paper balls.
Behind them... we see the two following on a bike desperately.
14EXT. DHABA – DAY (1ST ATTEMPT)
The bus moves through a beautiful wooded area and reaches a dhaba. The kids are very excited and very hungry. They love the beautiful place with the jungle all around.
NEHAWow, what an awesome place!
They are about to jump out of the bus and run to the dhaba when Komal whistles.
KOMALGuys, sab ek saath rehna, idhar udhar bhagna mat. 45 minutes mein hum yahan se chal denge.
ANJALIMadam, hum line bana ke chalien?
KOMALAs you wish Anjali.

ANJALI (TO KIDS AROUND HIM)Chalo haath pakadte hain (she tries to hold the hands of others but no one listens to her)arre kya hua?
Finally she finds a kid and the two hold hands and enter the dhaba.
15INT. RESTAURANT/DHABA - DAY
As they take their seat on a large table.
KOMAL ASKS ANJALI Anjali, yeh bachcha kaun hai? Yeh hamare saath nahin hai!
And everyone laughs as we realize that she has brought a kid from another group with her.
AT THE DOOR... BOSS AND CHAMAN enter. They are WATCHING. WAITING FOR AN OPPORTUNITY TO GRAB SUMEET. One kids turns towards them and they pick up menu’s and hide their faces behind them. Just then a waiter comes.
WAITERAap menu padte hi rahenge ya baith kar kuch order bhi karenge.
BOSS (LOOKS AT CHAMAN)Ehhh, voh, paani le aana.
WAITERMineral water hai, pandrah rupay. Baithiye lata hoon, aur khane ka order bhi soch lijiye.
Waiter leaves and the two sit down on a table still hiding their faces with the menu.
CHAMANPaani ke pandhar rupay? Dada re dada. Waise boss, thodi pooja kar lein?
BOSS Pooja?
CHAMANHaan, pet ki.

BOSSHaan kahna to padega hi. Tu order kar main aata hoon.
Boss leaves to go to the loo and the waiter comes to Chaman.
CHAMANHaan waiter ji. Ek le aana, yeh, jiski photo lagi hai, yahan pe. Aur yeh bhi, aur yeh bhi...
WAITER (POINTS)Aur yeh wala?
CHAMANLe aao, le aao. Aur yeh jo gol gol, laal laal hai, yeh bhi.
WAITER Aur yeh bhi le aata hoon?
CHAMANHaan! Jain jaldi se...
ON THE KID’S TABLE... the kids are laughing and eating. Surya is talking to a girl and we see Sumeet takes his chicken piece away and puts some sabji in its place. As Surya turns he’s surprised to see his chicken gone and he looks around scratching his head.
KOMAL Mr. Surya, apne vegetables kha lo!
Surya makes a face and starts to eat his veggies.
We see Jenny eats quietly as Krishh steals glances at her. As Jenny looks at him, quickly he looks away and accidentally water falls on his pants. Jenny laughs as Krishh makes a face and wipes his pants.
INTERCUT WITH - ON BOSS AND CHAMAN AS THEY KEEP AN EYE ON SUMEET.
Just then the waiter comes loaded with many dishes. He begins to serve them.
BOSSHello? Yeh galti se koi mistake hogi. Yeh to kisi bus ka khana hai.
WAITER (POINTING TO CHAMAN)Inhone order kiya tha.

As the waiter leaves Boss hits Chaman on his head.
BOSSBe chaman kahin ka. Yeh sab kyun mangwaya? Itna paisa thodi hai hamare paas!
CHAMANSorry boss.
BOSSChalo aaya hai to kha lete hain. Jitna poori zindagi mein total nahin khaya hoga utna poora aaj ek baar mein full ho jaaye.
CHAMAN (EXCITEDLY)Haan boss, aur yahan ka yeh mineral paani, jail ki daal se bhi gada hai.
BOSSSahi bola!
As they’re eating they see Sumeet get up and go to the loo. As the waiter is keeping an eye on them Boss says.
BOSS (WHISPERS TO CHAMAN)Ehh murga bathroom ja raha hai.
CHAMAN (LOOKS AT THE CHICKEN IN HIS PLATE)
Hain? Yeh bathroom kar raha hai?
BOSSAbbey yeh nahin voh ladka, ja uske peeche. Chal.
CHAMANMagar main hi kyun?
BOSSBoss kaun hai?
CHAMANAap ho boss.

16OUTSIDE THE TOILET
There are two doors... Chaman doesn’t see the sign and first he enters the ladies loo and we hear a slap and then he comes out massaging his cheek. He looks at the gents door and enters.
17INSIDE THE GENT’S TOILET
The loo is empty and he looks under the cabin doors.
Just then Jarnail comes in and sees Chaman on the floor looking into the cabins.
JARNAIL ANGRILYHey, kya karta hai, behooda. Chee!
CHAMAN THINKS QUICKLYArre nahin, main to... haan, main to saaf kar raha tha.
JARNAILTo saaf kar na. Jhadu kahan hai?
Chaman looks around and taking a jhadu he begins to clean the loo. Jarnail goes to pee looking at him. Chaman is looking at Jarnail all the time and Jarnail thinks that Chaman is strange. He turns away from him but Chaman’s eyes follow and Jarnail is very uncomfortable.
Just then Sumeet comes out of a cabin and moves to wash his hands. Chaman is about to pounce on Sumeet and Jarnail sees this. He wonders what Chaman is up to...
JARNAILEhh tu kar kya raha hai? Hain, kar kya raha hai? Hain? Hain?
CHAMAN Main to bas saaf...
Just then a restaurant employee enters. Jarnail complains...
JARNAILAapne kaise log yahan rakhe hue hain. Yeh... yeh dekhte hain doosre ko.
EMPLOYEE (SHOCKED)Dekhte hain? (to chaman)safaayi kyun nahin karte? Idhar udhar

Jarnail and Sumeet leave. Chaman takes a plunger and begins to clean the loo.
IN THE DHABA... later
BOSS waits... Chaman comes out of the loo.
BOSS Kar liya ladke ko saaf?
CHAMANNahin bathroom ko saaf kiya.
BOSSKya? Aur yeh badbu kaisi hai?
And he makes a face as Chaman smells terribly.
Just then they see the kids leaving.
BOSS Humein bhi chalna chaiye.
As they get up to leave the waiter arrives with the bill.
BOSSArre bill? Humne to order nahin kiya tha. Tumne kiya tha Chaman?
CHAMANNahin.
WAITER SMILESBahut achcha mazak kar lete hain. Yeh lijiye.
Boss takes the bill slowly and both sit down. The waiter waits for the money.
Boss and Chaman wonder what to do... they talk in with their eyes. Then suddenly boss winks at Chaman and Chaman understands.
BOSSChalo chalein. Bill main pay karta hoon. Kitna hua? 670 rupees?(starts to take out his purse)

CHAMAN Magar bachche to hamare school ke hain na. To hum denge na bill.
BOSSDekhiye, baat maniye, hum denge.

CHAMAN Bata rahe hain, achcha nahin hoga. Yeh hamari baat kaat rahe hain aap.

The two begin to push each other. Just then the restaurant owner arrives.

BOSS Arre sir, aapki shakal se aap ek samjhdaar aur ek intelligent aadmi lagte hain. Aap hi na bataiye, humara voh adventure camp hai. Voh jiski bus abhi abhi yahan se gayi. Royal Adventure Camp. Aur hum yahan ka kahan check karne aaye they. Humein achcha laga.

MANAGER (PLEASED)Arre aap log hamare itne mehtwaroorna mehmaan hain. Bill jaisi choti cheez ke chalte mann khatta mat kijiye. Bill kya hai ... koi bhi de de... yeh koi samasya nahin.
BOSSNahin main doonga.

CHAMAN Theek hai mat aaiye.
MANAGER (ALARMED)Arre, samasya ka samaadhan mil gaya. Bill hum na de dete hain. Laaiye.(he takes the bill and tears it up)lijiye, de diya bill.
BOSSArre sir, aapne yeh kya kiya? Bill hi faad diya?

MANAGERAb suniye, aap logon ka safar lamba hai, aur aagey hamare jaisa dhaba koi nahin. To aap log...(calls waiter)inko do packed dinner lao jaldi. Aur achcar, salad saath mein pack kar dena.
BOSSArre, iski kya zaroorat hai.
MANAGERHaan aur mithai bhi. Rasgulla? Gulab jamun?
BOSS AND CHAMAN TOGETHERHaan chalega.

Boss and Chaman sit down.

As the two drive away on the bike, the owner is waving to them like a long lost friend...
19EXT. ROAD - DAY
ON THE BIKE... Boss and Chaman are laughing away... They ride quickly the catch up with the bus.
20LONG SHOT OF THEM NEARING THE BUS
21INT. BUS - DAY
Neha shoots. The bus moves over a hilly road. It’s going up and down slopes. We see the bike comes and overtakes the bus. Neha shoots them as they speed away.
As Neha turns she shoot she sees Jenny talking on her cellphone. So do some other kids. Komal sees them. She sees the bus approaches a crossroad.

BHAGWAAN Pahunch gaye madam. Magar in bachchon ko dekhiye phone par hi lage hua hain.
KOMAL (TO JARNAIL)Jarnail bus roko. (Jarnail stops the bus, she whistles, everyone looks up)pay attention please. Apne mobile aur valuables idhar de dijiye. All of you. Camp mein mobiles allowed nahin. Aur aapke valuables bhi safe nahin. Sab Bhagwaan sir ko de dijiye. Jaldi.(nobody moves)Please co-operate everyone.
JENNYBut why should we give our phones?

MEANWHILE UP AHEAD... Boss drops nails on road to get the bus punctured. But the bus has stopped before it reaches spot.
Boss and Chaman waits for the bus to come.

They forget about the nails and return to check why the bus has stopped. But their own bike gets punctured by their own nails!
Boss stops the bike and checks the wheels. They are stunned, both their tyres are punctured.
INTERCUT WITH the bus...
VIKRAM (SLOWLY STANDS UP)Come on guys. Komal madam ki baat maan jaate hain. Time waste ho raha hai.
BHAGWAANAur kaafi door jana hai trek kar ke. Andhere mein gaye to tendua, saanp, aur bichoo ka khatra hai.
JARNAILAur madam, merese raat mein aisi tedi medi sadak pe gaadi nahin chalti, aaj raat yahin bus mein rehte hain.
KOMALTheek aaj raat phir idhar hi. Chalo bus ke andar hi intezaam karte hain...
She gets up as if to make preperations for staying there. But just then all kids slowly get up (even the chatty Neha and Sumeet) and hand over their phones. Some kids hand over their gold chains etc.
JENNYMagar rules to sabke liye same hone chahiye na? Aap sab ke mobiles...?
So even Komal and Jarnail have to hand over their own phones which Bhagwaan keeps carefully in a bag.
After Bhagwaan has collected the mobiles the bus restarts and takes a turn and goes down a kaccha road. Kids shout in excitement yayyyyy.
ON Chaman and Boss as they see the bus taking a turn down a kachcha road.
CHAMANAb kya karien?

BOSSTyre ko chodo. Main bike pe chalta hoon tum paidal aao, aagey milte hain.
Boss gets on the punctured bike and follows the bus down the kaccha road. The bike is moving at 5 kms per hour. And soon Chaman walking casually overtakes Boss on the bike!
LATER... The two are still following the bus when they see the bus has come to a stop down below in the valley.
They leave their bike which has shreds instead of tyres by now and walk down to the bus. They’re tired and panting. They hang on to each other for support
22EXT. JUNGLE - DAY
MEANWHILE... Komal and kids walk deeper into the jungle to a clearing.
VIKRAMWhat a place.
NEHA (SHOOTING)Awesome!
KRISHHKomal madam, yahan pe leopards hote hain.
KOMALYes, of course. Ab hum apna ghar chod kar leopards ke ghar aa gaye hain. So we must behave.
All the kids come close to each other a bit scared. Someone growls like a leopard and kids giggle. We see Sumeet still seems disinterested.
BHAGWAANKyun Sumeet, aapko jagah achchi nahin lagi?
SUMEETKuch khaas nahin hai.
ON BOSS AND CHAMAN as they reach the bus.
The two stop and catch their breath.

Chaman starts to go into the jungle after the kids.

Chaman stops and we see Boss goes under the bus.

ON Komal AND THE KIDS... as they reach a beautiful clearing next to a lake. It’s stunning and the kids look around.
NEHAThis is fantabulous.
Bhagwaan turns to Sumeet and he makes a face that it’s kind of ok. Not so great.
KOMALChalo everyone. Ab hum tents lagayenge! Lab help karenge aur apne apne tents sab khud hi pitch karenge.

Surya watches ths tars through the telescope. He passes the telescope to others who watch too. The telescope reaches Jenny who looks through it. Krishh looks at Jenny looking through the telescope and looks at her.

JENNY (LOWERS AND LOOKS AT SUDIPTO)Ab dikh raha hai.
SUDIPTO Kya Jenny main koi alien thodi, main to tumhare bhai jaisa hoon. Magar Krishh tumhare bhai jaisa nahin. Jab tum stars dekh rahin thin, yeh tumhein dekh raha tha. With stars in his eyes.

Jenny looks at Krishh and Krishh looks away. Komal walks up...
KOMALChalo guys, vegetables kaat lo. Telescope to baad mein bhi dekh sakte ho... Aur kaat ke Jarnail ko de aao.
Komal walks away. Krish begins cutting vegetables again and he cuts his hand. He sucks his finger.
We see Jenny walks away and returns with a bandaid. She gives the bandaid to Krishh who slowly takes it but can’t put it on his own finger. Jenny puts the bandaid on Krishh’s finger. Sudipto whistles.
JENNYShut up Sudipto. Nahin to main tumhare moonh pe bhi bandaid laga doongi.
Krishh laughs and Sudipto become quiet.
30INT/EXT. KITCHEN TENT - NIGHT
Close up of Jarnail crying. He wipes his eyes and as we pull back from him we see he’s outside the kitchen chopping some onions. He cuts and places them on a table as he turns to get more stuff... we see the two kidnappers watch.
Chaman’s stomach grumbles.
BOSSSahi keh rahe ho chaman, mujhe bhi bahut bhookh lag rahi hai.

CHAMANTo apna packed lunch kha lein? Jo dhabe se mila tha.
BOSSNahin usse bacha kar rakhte hain. Uska breakfast kar lenge. Manager ne kaha tha ek din to kharaab nahin hoga. Abhi ke liye thoda haath saaf kar ke khana khate hain!
He points to Jarnail cooking dinner and Chaman understands. They creep up to the cooking table and hide beside it. They smell good food from the cooking pot.
BOSS WHISPERS Main uska dyaan batata hoon tu maal uda le. Haan, salad zaroor lena.
Boss goes to some tent and calls out.
BOSSOye chapadganju, idhar aa.
JARNAIL (REACTS)Hain? Kisi ne bulaya humein?
BOSS Nahin.
JARNAILPhir theek hai. (he gets back to work)
BOSSPsssss. Chapadganju.
JARNAILHain?
BOSSIdhar aa lalloo.
Jarnail turns and starts looking in the nearby tents.
JARNAILArre kahaan ho bhai?
BOSSYahan, idhar. Dekh tera dimaag gir gaya.

Jarnail starts to check various tents.
Meanwhile ... Chaman steals the cooked stuff along with plates and spoons and water etc. he loads himself and goes to the nearby trees and hides the stuff.
JARNAIL (GOES INTO A TENT)Iss tent mein koi hai?
BOSS HIDING INSIDE THE TENTNahin koi nahin hai yahan.
Jarnail leaves and then realizes someone was in the tent. He goes back and looks but no one is there.
Meanwhile Chaman gestures to Boss he has stolen enough. Boss escapes into the nearby jungle.
Jarnail too looks around, finds no one. He returns to his kitchen, turns to check his vegetables and realizes food is vanishing and wonders what is happening.
JARNAILArre yeh khana kahan gaya?
He looks around and sees monkeys in the trees.
JARNAILAur voh awaazein kiski thin? Kahin bhoot to nahin?
A chill runs down his spine. He quickly goes to his kitchen trying to finish cooking while shooing away the monkey that makes a face at him. Jarnail is scared of the monkey too...
Meanwhile... the two kidnappers have managed to get enough food for themselves! They are eating and enjoying.
CHAMAN Boss thodi si chicken bhi kha loon, jo dhabe se laaye they.
BOSSBilkul bhi nahin. Bacha ke rakhna hai, kal khana nahin mila to?

A big table has been laid out in the open. The kids come and sit down. As Jarnail comes the kids start ordering all kinds of stuff.

Komal smiles and watches as Jarnail and Bhagwaan get a few bowls of food and keep on the table.

Neha pours out some sabji and sees.

SUDIPTOMatlab vegetables hi vegetarian sabji? Yuck.
KOMALHum jungle mein hain, kisi five star hotel mein nahin. Jungle mein non-veg khayenge to animals attract honge. Tum sab chahte ho ki hum raat ko leopards ke saath soyein?
VIKRAM (ALREADY EATING) Very tasty madam. Bahut bhadiya bana hai Jarnail.
Everyone starts to pour out stuff serving themselves.
SUMEET (MAKES A FACE)Main koi bakri nahin jo ghaas phoos khaoon.
SUDIPTODekhne mein to lagta hai.
Kids laugh and Sudipto and Sumeet are almost about to fight with each other.
KOMAL (WHISTLES)Nahin! No fights. Chup chaap khana khao. Aur suno. Bhagwaan sab dekh raha hai. Mera matlab hamara bhagwaan. Voh ek register mein points de raha hai. Sabse achche candidate ko ek adventure gear free milega – matlab

The kids are excited as they hear the prize. Immediately they start to behave. They all eat their dinner relishing it. Surya, the thin kid eats the most (he is always hungry, eats a lot but it doesn’t show on him). They all find the food yummy.
KRISHH Jarnail, sach much bahut achcha hai. Bilkul chicken ki tarah.
JARNAILArre main to kisi bhi cheez ko chicken jaisa bana doon. Kaddu ko bhi.
The kids laugh, joke and eat... Only Sumeet sees the plate of food and quietly puts it all in Surya’s plate. Surya who’s still hungry eats up his plate too.
Behind them we see Boss and Chaman watching then.
BOSSSumeet khana nahin kha raha. Aa gaya!
CHAMANMujhe bhi aa gaya.
BOSSTere ko kya aaya Chaman kahin ke?(Chaman lifts his little finger)arre susu nahin, mere ko idea aaya hai!
32CAMPFIRE – LATER NIGHT
As the kids gather around the camp fire... Chaman secretly calls out to Sumeet.
CHAMANHey pss, hey Sumeet.(sumeet turns and sees him)
SUMEETAb aap kaun hain?
CHAMANHumein aapke daddy ne bheja hai yeh dekhne ke liye ki aapko koi takleef na ho. Humne dekha aapne kuch khaya

SUMEETSach?
CHAMANHaan. Lo. (Sumeet is a bit suspiscious)arre lo beta. Baaki kisi ko pata chala hum yahan hain to humein bhaga denge. Hum aas paas hi hain. Har cheez mein madad karenge. Lo.
He gives Sumeet a pouch which Sumeet tries to take from his hand. But Chaman wants the chicken and doesn’t let go easily. Sumeet begins to pull and finally Chaman lets go of the pouch. Sumeet keeps it with him.
SUMEETMain isse tent mein ja kar khaata hoon.
He leaves... Chaman watches the pouch greedily licking his lips... it’s as if his girlfriend is walking away with another man... Chaman comes back to Boss and gives a thumbs up sign.
33INT. TENT - NIGHT
The kids move into already pitched tents. Sumeet goes into his tent and is about to eat his dinner when he hears Komal’s whistle blowing.
SUMEETArre yaar iski whistle to...
He hides the food under the bed and moves away. As he leaves we see a monkey enters the tent. It sees the pouch, tears it opens and starts eating.
LATER... Chaman enters wearing a cape. He sees that the pouch is empty and someone is sleeping under the bed sheets. Quickly he wraps the whole bedding and takes it away.
As he’s moving away Jarnail sees him and presumes it’s Bhagwaan (Chaman hides his face in the bedding).
JARNAIL Arre yeh bedding kaha le ja rahe ho Bhagwaan?

CHAMAN CHANGES HIS VOICESukhane.
JARNAILHain? Raat ko sukhane? Aur teri awwaz ko kya hua?
BHAGWAANVoh gala kharaab hai.
JARNAILTo main dawayi lata hoon. Rukna yahin par.
But Chaman leaves hurriedly. Chaman takes the bedding to Boss.
BOSSYeh hui na baat. Very good chaman.
They un-roll the bedding and from it emerges the angry drugged up monkey that pounces on them. They begin to shout and run. The monkey is stuck to Chaman’s face and he runs around mad. Jarnail sees him...
JARNAIL Arre baap re paagal bandar. Main aa raha hoon bhagwaan. Main bachata hoon.
But Chaman runs into the jungle with the monkey. Jarnail too follows but looses him in the dark.
JARNAILKahan gaya?
34AT THE CAMPFIRE - NIGHT
AT THE CAMP... Jarnail runs back and sees Bhagwaan there doing some work. Jarnail runs to him, Komal is there too.
JARNAILHey Bhagwaan, tu theek to hai na?
BHAGWAANKyun kya hua mujhe?
JARNAILBandar ne kata to nahin? Kahan kata? Main dawa laga deta hoon. Aur tera gala bhi kharaab tha na? Dawai doon?

IN THE JUNGLE. Boss has got scratch marks and Chaman applies some medicine on his own wounds.
BOSS (CONTROLLING HIS TEMPER)Samajh nahin aata bandar ko kaise pakad laaya! Chaman kahin ka.
CHAMAN Sorry boss.
36EXT. WALK-ALONE/JUNGLE - NIGHT
The kids stand facing Komal who briefs them.
KOMALAb sone se pehle hum ek chota sa kaam karenge. Koi khane ke baad night walk pe jata hai?
NEHAMain jaati hoon madam, apne dadaji ke saath.

KOMALAur koi?(some kids raise their hands)great, to aaj hum bhi night walk pe jayenge, bas difference yeh hai ki hum akele jayenge. Ek ek kar ke. Yahan se...(she points)
SURYANahin madam, mujhe nahin jana. Neend aa rahi hai.
KOMAL Nahin sabko jana hoga. It’s compulsory. Aur voh iss liye ki tum sab ka darr khatam ho. So who’ll go first?
VIKRAMMain jaaoonga madam!
KOMALNahin, sabse pehle jayegi Neha. She’s a brave young girl. Neha tum tayiyaar ho?
NEHA (GULPS)Yes madam.
Neha goes in first. She walks through the dark tree.
Various shots of her walking in alone. She can here the night sounds of the jungle. She has her handycam on nightvision and shoots. But she’s really scared and starts to talk to herself.
NEHADarne ki koi baat hi nahin? Tu kyun darr rahi hai Neha. Night walk pe to roz hi jaati hai. Darne ki koi baat hi nahin? Darne ki koi baat hi nahin? Darne ki koi baat hi nahin! (And just then out of the tree step out Jarnail and Bhagwaan wearing white sheets)DARNE KI BAAT HAI!
Neha gives a scream and runs away...
BACK ON KOMAL... AS THE KIDS HERE THE SCREAMS.

KOMAL Kuch nahin hai. Jenny you’re next.
Jenny comes next casually chewing bubble gum. Jarnail is wrapped in a bed sheet and making odd sounds standing right in front of her but Jenny is not scared.
JENNYExcuse me.
She gently pushes him aside and continues to walk. Jarnail is surprised to see that his scare tactics are not working on Jenny.
CUT TO:
NEXT TO COME IS VIKRAM... as Jarnail tries to scare him Vikram attacks him and beats Jarnail up. Jarnail runs away Vikram follows.
CUT TO:
NEXT... It’s Sumeet’s turn.
Jarnail and Bhagwaan are supposed to wear a bed sheet and scare him. Jarnail hides under a sheet when we see a third guy comes wearing a bed sheet.
Sumeet comes walking. He sees the people wearing bedsheets.
SUMEET (TO HIMSELF)Achcha mere ko daraoge? Dikhata hoon.
Instead of taking the designated path he turns and takes a short cut.
Meanwhile... we see Chaman too is waiting with a bedsheet to kidnap Sumeet. He gets bored waiting and removes his bedsheet.
CHAMANKahan gaya yeh ladka?
He starts to walk down the path looking for Sumeet. In the darkness Boss, also wearing a sheet, sees someone coming down the path.
BOSSAa gaya lagta hai.
He takes his own bedsheet and jumps and kidnaps the struggling figure. Boss hits the person’s head and makes him faint. Boss drags the figure to the side.
BOSSYeh itna bada kaise ho gaya?

He removes the bed sheet and sees he has kidnapped Chaman!!!!
BOSSTu? Chaman kahin ka!
CHAMAN Sorry boss.
Just then Sumeet walks up whistling casually.
BOSSChup. Voh dekh sach much aa gaya.
They are about to jump and kidnap him when they hear the growl of a leopard! They turn and see – a leopard is walking towards them through the darkness.
CHAMAN TREMBLING Ttttt... tt... tt... tendua!
BOSSTtt... tendua nahin Chetah hai.
CHAMANTtttt... Tendua hai boss!
BOSSccccc... cheetah hai. Bbbbb... boss kaun hai?
CHAMANAaaaa... aap ho. To ab kya plan hai bbbboooosss?
BOSSPpppp... plan hai... bbbbbhaagoooo!!!!
Chaman and Boss quickly run away scared.
But we see it’s just Jarnail using the sound equipment to make the leopard growling sound. While bhagwaan is wearing a leopard costume to scare Sumeet.
Sumeet sees the leopard coming towards him.

Jarnail walks up and removes his bedsheet.
JARNAILApp kaise ho Sumeet, aapko darr nahin lagta?
SUMEETAisi bachchon wali cheezon se nahin darta main. Mujhe pata hai yeh ek faaltu ka camp hai jahan koi khatra nahin. Aur jahan koi khatra nahin, wahan koi darr nahin. Good night.
Jarnail and Bhagwaan watch him go.
37EXT. CAMP - NIGHT
The mkids return after the walk alone. They are chatting excitedly.
NEHAMain do darr ke bhaag hi gayi.
SURYAMaza aaya na? kal phir karenge.
KOMALSo kids maza aaya?
KIDSyesssssss
KOMALAb tum daroge to nahin?
KIDSNoooo...
KOMALGood... Ok now good slight. Sleep tight and don’t let the bed bugs bite!

The stars in the sky dissolve as the sun rises and a new day begins.
A loud whistle is heard!
39EXT. CAMP – EARLY MORNING
Komal, ready and fresh as ever, stands with Jarnail and Bhagwaan. She whistles loudly. One by the kids come out yawning. Krishh walks up half asleep and continues walking till someone stops him and he stands swaying and listens.
KOMAL Good morning everyone.
EVERYONE Good morning madam.
KOMALAaj hum bahut hi masti karenge! So get ready, have breakfast, aur phir ek surprise!
Everyone moves away...
40EXT. JUNGLE TREK - DAY
The kids are starting to trek. As they walk... we see Boss and Chaman are fast asleep curled up in each other’s arms in the jungle. Suddenly boss wakes up on hearing footsteps. Chaman still snores.
BOSSEhh chal uth.
CHAMAN Chaaye le ke aa, uthta hoon main.
Boss shakes Chaman and he gets up.
BOSSMauka hai mauka! Chal!
Quckly the two get up.

41EXT. JUNGLE TERKS - DAY
The kids are trekking. Chaman and boss huff and puff and follow. At one point they see Sumeet lagging behind. Chaman puts chloroform on his hanky and puts it in his pants.
BOSS Jaldi ja jaldi, mauka hai.
CHAMAN TIRED AND SLEEPYMain kyun boss, iss baar aap jao na.
BOSSBoss kaun hai?
CHAMANAap ho boss. Main hi jata hoon.
Chaman sadly walks behind Sumeet.
But everytime he comes close to Sumeet either Sumeet increases his speed or Sumeet isn’t alone. Finally Chaman is getting very tired and sweating.
He gasps for air and stops. He reaches into his pant, takes out a hanky and forgetting about what is on it he wipes his face and faints. Everything goes out of focus
FADE OUT
FADE IN
Boss IS SLAPPING THE camera. The camera slowly goes into focus and sees Boss from Chaman’s POV. Chaman slowly sits up. Now we see that boss is pulling up Chaman and pours some water from his bottle on him.
BOSSUtthh. So raha hai tu! Chaman kahin ke! So kyun raha hai? Bata.
CHAMANMain, mmmm... Mujhe kuch yaad nahin, main thak gaya tha, maine rumaal nikala aise paseena pochne ke liye aur main... phir kuch yaad nahin.
BOSSAabey cholroform laga tha rumaal main. Chaman kahin ke!

CHAMAN Sorry boss.
BOSSChal uth, unke peeche chalna hai.
Chaman quickly gets up and picks his hanky.
CHAMANAapne bilkul geela kar diya boss.
Chaman starts to wipe his hands and then forgetting he wipes his face and smells the hanky again and faints. Boss has his head in his hands.
BOSS (ANGRY, SHOUTS)Hey bhagwaan!
ON BHAGWAAN... Somewhere else Bhagwaan is walking with the kids when he hears the cry.
BHAGWAANHain, kisne bulaya mujhe, kisne bulaya?
But there’s one calling him. Bhagwaan scratches his head...
42EXT. CAMP/JUNGLE - DAY
Komal stands in front of kids who are wearing red and yellow overalls.
KOMALAb hum sabse exiting game khelenge. Maine tumhein do teams mein divide kar diya hai. Red and Yellow! Aur hum ek karenge shootout! Dekhte hain jeetta kaun hai.
SURYA (SCARED)Shootout?
Everyone is handed small airguns. They look at the guns excitedly.
KOMALRules simple hain - ek baar goli lag gayi you are out of the game. Vikram tum apni team ko iss taraf le jao aur Neha tum iss taraf. And let the war begin.

ON Vikram who’s very serious and behaves like a soldier. He hides behind trees and jumps out to shoot at the opposing team hitting their soliders with perfect aim.
ON Sudipto as he sees various birds and animals and hits them instead with yellow paintballs. Neha sees this.
NEHASudipto masti mat karo. Koi tumhein maar dega.
SUDIPTO SMILESArre mujhe kuch nahin hoga. I am focussed... sab tarah nazar hai meri. Mere koi nahin maar...
And just then a shot hits his chest. Surya has fired and hit him. Neha hides behind a tree.
SURYAYou are dead!!!
Surya starts doing a dance excitedly and Sudipto fumes in anger. Suddenly Neha jumps out from behind a tree and shoots Surya on his chest.
NEHAYou are dead too!
Neha runs off to shoot more people and Sudipto laughs at Surya. Now Surya fumes and starts firing at Sudipto who fires back. Both start laughing.
Meanwhile ON JENNY... as she hides behind a tree and looks out. She sees someone coming near her from the bushes. She sees the figure coming closer. She crouches down below and waits. As the figure comes real close she jumps out of the tree and raises her gun to shoot. But she sees it’s Krishh who too has his gun on her.
Both have their guns on each other, who will shoot first! There’s a stand off like western films. Suddenly Jenny smiles and looks at Krishh’s zip.
JENNYLetterbox!
Krishh immediately lowers his gun to check his zip and sees that it’s closed. He looks up alarmed and sees Jenny smiling at him. She has fooled him.

JENNY (LAUGHING) Everything’s fair in love and war.(saying this she shoots Krishh on his chest)you are dead.
KRISHHOhhh no... (Jenny looks at him, he smiles)and what is this? Love or war?
Jenny runs away laughing. Krishh shakes his head.
Meanwhile ON SUMEET as he sits under a tree playing a video game.
Suddenly he hears a twig crack.
Quickly he picks up his gun. He turns around and sees Chaman and Boss hiding in a bush. Suddenly they jump out at him... trying to catch him but...
SLOW MOTION... Sumeet sees them running towards him and shoots them like dogs. BAM BAM BAM... Chaman and Boss are hit in their chest with paint shots that burst out. The two shake in slow motion like goondas in Bollywood films and fall down like dead extras. Sumeet walks up to them and blasts with paints. They are coloured all over. Sumeet walks away laughing
SUMEETNot a bad game!
Boss and Chaman lie there.
CHAMANBoss hum zinda hain? Usne humein goli se chalni kar diya!
BOSSNakli goliyan thin voh.
CHAMANBoss. Mujhe maza nahin lag raha. Kidnapping mein voh baat nahin hai.
BOSSSach keh raha hai tu. Chal uthh ab USSKO CHODENGE NAHIN.

Later... the two are hiding in the bushes and trying to get their breath back when some red ants begin to climb over them and they feel itchy all over.
CHAMANBoss cheenti!
BOSSCheenti?
CHAMANHaan cheenti!
BOSS (FEELS RED ANTS OVER HIM)Cheenti? Cheenti? CHEENTI!CHEENTI!
And suddenly they begin to itch wildly. It seems like they are doing some wild dance. They run towards the camp.
43EXT. CAMP/KITCHEN - DAY
AT THE CAMP... Jarnail is cooking lunch when he sees the two coloured men dancing wildly coming towards him and he begins to tremble thinking that they are some weird tribals.
BOSS AND CHAMANCheenti, Cheenti, Cheenti, Cheenti Cheenti.
Jarnail thinks they are attacking him. He runs and begins to shout loudly.
JARNAIL Aadamkhor aadivasi
Chaman and Boss too run in the same direction and Jarnail feels that they are following him. But they run in a different direction.
44INT. JUNGLE - DAY
He runs to the others who have finished their game. Vikram’s team has won. Surya, Vikram and Jenny are doing hi fives. Jarnail runs up alarmed.

KOMALKya hua Jarnail? Iss time pe jogging kyun kar rahe ho?
JARNAILVoh wahan, cheentiwasi. Cheentiwasi.
KOMAL Cheentiwasi?
JARNAILHaan aadamkhor adivasi, Cheentiwasi! Voh mujhe khaana chate they, aur dance bhi kar rahe they. Keh rahe they hum Cheentiwasi hain, Cheentiwasi!
LONG SHOT – Jarnail doing a crazy scratchy dance and showing what the adivasis were doing. The kids laugh. They turn to look behind him but Boss and Chaman have taken a different path and are somewhere else.
KOMALStop talking nonsense, agar tumhare peeche hain to kahan gaye?
JARNAILVoh aapko dekh kar bhaag gaye honge. Bhagwaan ko pata hai hum sach keh rahe hain.
BHAGWAANArre mere ko nahin pata. Main to idhar tha.
JARNAILMain oopar wale bhagwaan ki baat kar raha hoon. Yahaan hamare saath koi aur bhi hai.
Jarnail looks around scared. The kids too seem scared and a few of them huddle together.
KOMALJarnail sabko darao mat. Hum iske baare mein baad mein baat karte hain.
Jarnail walks away, everyone looks at him.
SURYAMain usse baat karta hoon

Surya walks behind Jarnail. He walks up to him and begins talking to him. Jarnail listens and we see everyone else watches. Surya is explaining seriously. Jarnail smiles and turns to everyone.
JARNAIL Main samajh gaya. Jo maine dekha voh mera waham tha. Surya ji ne bola, kya... Haan voh hallucination tha. Ab main nahin daroonga aur koi dikha to usse baat karne ki koshish karoonga. Aap sab camp chalo main khana lagata hoon. Aaj maine kaddu banaya hai!
SURYAKaddu? Yum yum!
45EXT. CAMP/KITCHEN - DAY
Jarnail has cooked and is about to take everything to the table... when a vegetable in his hand falls and rolls away towards the trees. He walks towards the trees and just then he hears ahh ahhh coming from somewhere inside the jungle.
He walks deeper in... and deeper and deeper till he comes across Boss and Chaman who are in the jungle. Chaman is rubbing himself against a tree and is very pleased and saying ahhh as it reduces his itching (remember they were bitten by ants).
Boss too starts rubbing himself against a tree. Both are enjoying themselves immensely as the itching is gone.
Jarnail sees them and quickly turns back and runs. He reaches the camp and then slowly walks to a tree.
JARNAILKya kar rahe they mere haa... haa... haalucination? (walks to the tree and starts rubbing himself)aaahhh, maza to aata hai!
Just then Komal and kids walk up. Jarnail quickly gets back to work. Some kids giggle.
46SERIES OF SHOTS: MAYBE WITH THE THEME SONG IN THE BACKGROUND
- Kids are involved in more activities… Burma bridge, etc etc. the kidnappers are about jump Sumeet when someone or the other walks up.

- Kids surround Komal as she tells them about map reading, following trails. The kidnappers wait and Chaman almost falls asleep.
- TIME LAPSE... NIGHT... It’s dark all around... camp fire... Komal shows the kids how to light fire using two sticks. Kids light fires and are excited.
47EXT. CAMPFIRE - NIGHT
Sudipto is telling a scary story and all kids listen.
SUDIPTOActually mujhe iss jagah ke baare mein kaafi pata hai. Google kiya tha maine. Aur pata hai kya pata chala? Yeh ek tribal belt hai jahan hazaron tribals dafn hain! Locals ne kayi baar un tribals ke bhooton ko apne aas paas mehsoon kiya hai. Aur raat ko chandrma ki roshni mein, kabhi-kabhi hum unn aatmaon ko chalte phirte hue dekh bhi sakte hain. Voh akele aadmi ki talaash kar rahe hote hain taaki unko lapete mein le kar unpar chad kar voh baaki sab ko(indicates cutting of neck)dekhne mein normal hi hote hain magar unke paair!
SURYA Kya hota hai unke pairon ko?
SUMEETUnke pair mein se smell aati hai!(some kids giggle)
SUDIPTOArre nahin yaar. Unke paair ulte hote hain! Peeche ki aur.

48EXT. CAMP - NIGHT
The kids are sleeping. We hear the hooting of owls. The stars shine in the sky. Everything is still. Only... we see two bushes sway in a non-existent wind.
We focus on the bushes and we see that one of them starts to move ever so slightly. The other bush too moves
The two bushes start to slide towards a nearby tent... The two start to come closer and closer and closer to the tent.
And suddenly we see Jarnail gets up. His eyes are still closed and he’s almost asleep but still moving. He comes close to one of the bushes opens his zip and starts pee on it.
IN THE BUSH we see it’s not a bush but Chaman holding a cut bush in front of him.
He starts to feel the pee all over him and suddenly slides a few feet to the left. Jarnail sees the bush moving away and he too follows still half asleep. He begins to pee on the bush again.
Chaman moves again and Jarnail follows. He moves left, Jarinal pees to the left. He moves right, Jarnail moves to his right. Finally Chaman drops the bush and runs away. Jarnail sees only the bush falling and is surprised. Just then Bhagwaan too walks up...
JARNAILDekha tune bhagwaan? Dekha? Maine iss jhaad per susu ki aur yeh mar gayi!
BHAGWAANHain?
Bhagwaan goes to the second bush and but before he can do anything we see Boss too slides away and the bush falls down... Bhagwaan too is stunned...
BHAGWAANYeh to karne se pehle hi marr gayi!

49IN THE FORREST
Boss and Chaman meet in the darkness.
CHAMANAb man jhaad mein kabhi nahin chupunga. (Boss smells Chaman, makes a face) pichle do dinon mein meri saanp se ladayi hui hai, pehle nakli, phir asli. Ek bathroom saaf kiya, mere oopar susu hui, ek bandar se ladayi hui, laal chitiyon ne kaata, mujhe rang ki goliyan lagien, do baar behosh hua, aur ek baar aapne bhi mujhe kidnap kiya. Mujhe yeh apahran karne mein bilkul maza nahin lag raha.
He begins to sob and a few tears come out.
BOSS Sab theek ho jayega, aaj raat hum usse utha lenge aur phir rokda hi rokda!
He hands over a hanky to Chaman to wipe his tears. Chaman wipes his tears and then smells the hanky. He’s about to faint when...
BOSSYeh voh rumaan nahin hai.
Chaman realizes and doesn’t faint.
LATER... the two kidnappers have almost gone off to sleep. They are close to each other when a noise wakes the two up.
The two get up and start to walk up to Sumeet’s tent. We see Jarnail sleeping just near them. They have to cross him and Jarnail is having a nightmare.
As Chaman walks, his foot falls on a something and it makes a noise. Jarnail slowly opens his eyes and sees Boss.
Boss sees that he has been seen. Jarnail asks him
JARNAILTum kaun ho?
Boss starts to move/sway to give a feeling that he is swaying in the wind.

BOSSMain bhoot hoon! Bhoot!
JARNAIL Ohh, phir theek hai, good night.
BOSS (ACCIDENTALLY) Good night.
Jarnail turns sideways to sleep once again and suddenly opens his eyes!
JARNAILKya? Bhoot?
He spins around to see but by now Boss and Chaman are again hiding in the nearby bushes. Jarnail wakes up and looks all around.
JARNAILSapna dekha hoga.
He gets up and again goes to the nearby bush to pee... we see Chaman hiding in the bush... as water begins to fall on him again.
LATER... Chaman is very angrily wiping himself.
BOSS Yeh General Singh, yeh har baar apni taang ada deta hai, iska main kuch karta hoon.
Boss goes to a white bedsheet and slowly pulls it off then he hangs the white bed sheet on a pole next to Jarnail. He takes a pebble and hits Jarnail. Jarnail wakes up suddenly and see the bedsheet swaying in the wind in front of him.
JARNAIL (SHOUTING)bhoot bhoot(attacks the bedsheet)
Other people run up. Surya sees Jarnail attacking the bedsheet. Komal walks up...
KOMALJarnail yeh kya ho gaya hai tumhein? Bedsheet se kyun lad rahe ho?
JARNAILBbbbbbhoot... yahan bhoot hai.

KOMALKahaan hai bhoot?
Jarnail has the bedsheet in his hand and looks around.
KOMALTumhare darr aur veham ke siwaye yahan kuch nahin. Ab kisi ko phir jagaya na, to main tumhein wapas bhej doogi, I swear. Chalo everyone, back to sleep.
The kids turn to go back... Surya walks up to Jarnail
SURYAYaad rakho Jarnail, koi nahin hai. Haalucination, hai. Dekho hi mat unki taraf. Ok?
Jarnail nods.
LATER... Everyone goes to sleep again. Kidnappers creep up to Sumeet’s tent Jarnail wakes up again. He sees them and then goes back to sleep.
JARNAILTum asli nahin ho.
He begins to snore again. Boss sees the bag next to Jarnail and steals it.
BOSS (TO CHAMAN)Jo mile haath saaf kar le.
Chaman steals the bag with the mobile phones and other valuables too. They are about to approach Sumeet’s tent when they see Sumeet coming out to pee.
Quietly they stand behind him. When he completes and turns to go back to the tent...
He sees the two. Sumeet looks at them surprised and is about to say something when... when they pounce on him...
He manages to let off a scream before they grab his face and tape it. Hearing the scream Jarnail’s eyes snap open. He turns to look sleepily around him and just as he’s about to see Sumeet... Sumeet is pulled away by the two. All he sees is the shaking bushes. Jarnail scratches his head.
MEANWHILE the two kidnappers lift Sumeet and heave him away... taking the other loot with them.

Jarnail sits there seeing the shaking bushes.
But Sumeet’s scream has woken up the camp. The first to wake up is Komal as she rushes to Jarnail. The others too wake up unhappily and walk up.
KOMAL Arre, ab kyun chillaye Jarnail?
JARNAIL Main kahan chillaya? Maine bhi kisi ki cheekh suni aur uth ke dekha to jhaad aise aise hil rahi thi.
VIKRAM Kya? Jhaad hil rahi thi?
JARNAILHaan aur thodi der pehle to yeh chal phir bhi rahi thi. Jaise night walk pe nikli hon. Main kehta hoon madam jhaad mein kuch kala hai, mera matlab daal mein kuch jhaad hai, matlab daal mein kuch kala hai, aur jhaad mein...
KOMALShut up Jarnail, tumhein main subah dekhti hoon. Chalo sab, for one final time - goodnight.
They all go to bed cursing Jarnail for waking them up.
50IN THE JUNGLE – ALMOST MORNING
The kidnappers are running with their hostage. They run like mad not knowing where they are.
BOSSRuko ruko...
The two stop and put Sumeet on his feet. They’re exhausted and sit down to rest.
CHAMAN Bahut bhaari bachcha hai bhai.
BOSSIsse ab uthane ki koi zaroorat nahin, ab isse khud chalne do.

Sumeet is trying to desperately free himself but we see even his hands are tied and his face taped. He struggles and struggles and fights and then gives up and lies back panting.

Chaman pushes Sumeet and Sumeet attacks back kicking but Chaman holds him and snaps his knife open.

Chaman put the knife on Sumeet’s face and is about to make a cut when Sumeet shakes his head gesturing he will walk.

The two look around and together the two point in exactly opposite directions.

They see that both are pointing in opposite directions.

The three begin walking. Sumeet begins walking in between the two, but not very co-operatively… Chaman holds him and keeps pushing him…

The kids are sleeping. Krishh is sleeping soundly snoring when suddenly we hear Komal’s loud whistle. And instantly Krishh wakes up.
The kids slowly wake up and come out of their tents. Massaging their ears. Komal smiles at them.
KOMALGood morning everyone.
KIDS (SLEEPILY) Good morning.
Komal takes out her list and takes attendance. She takes the kids names and they say present. She reaches Summet and no one answers.
KOMALSumeet, late as usual.
Komal enters Sumeet’s tent and blows the whistle but there’s no one there.

The kids move away to look around.

Chaman looks at Boss as if he’s God.
CHAMANBoss, aap sach much boss ho. Jai ho aapki.
By now they come to a granite pebbled path where Sumeet realises that footprints won’t be seen. He sits down not being able to breathe.
CHAMAN Ab kya hua chokre?
Sumeet gestures open my mouth.
Chaman does so and Sumeet gasps for breath
SUMEETItni der chale ja rahein hain. Ab saans nahin aa rahi. Mera moonh khol ke rakho.
BOSSChal, theek hai. Khula rehne do...
Boss allows him to go without the tape on his mouth. All of them sit down. Sumeet loosens his lace with one foot.
SUMEETAb haath bhi khol do, laces tie karne hain.
Chaman nods and opens his hands... The sky is slowly brightening…
Sumeet bends down and starts to tie his laces. He sees that Both Chaman and Boss are looking somewhere else and their eyes are not on him.

Quickly he takes out his purse and slips a 10 rupee note under a rock. Then he takes out all the change he has in his purse and holds them in his fist. He also takes out a piece of paper and tears it up and holds in his fist. Just then Chaman turns around and sees Sumeet’s purse.
He walks up and quickly grabs Sumeet’s purse. He looks and sees it’s full of 1000 rupees notes. There must be 20,30 thousand. Boss too turns and sees the money. Both the kidnappers are happy.
CHAMANBaap re, itna maal!
They turn to Sumeet and see the rings on his fingers. They take everything.
SUMEETHo tum dono faltu ke chindi chor hi.
CHAMANHum chindi chor hi nahin, kidnappers bhi hain.
BOSSAur kaatil bhi!

They begin to walk. Sumeet co–operates and begins to walk after them.
As he walks he sees Boss keeps the money and valuables in the mobile bag.
As they walk we see Sumeet drops a coin from his fist. He’s leaving a train of coins behind in case someone follows...

NEHAVoh to raat mein hi use kar sakte hain.

The three groups divide and shake hands.
As one group leaves for the bus, the other group stays back.

KOMALAb hum tracking techniques use karenge. Kadmon ke nishaan, tooti hui daaliyan, empty wrappers and packets, unki smells. Etc. humein bilkul unki tarah se sochna hoga. Agar hum unki jagah hote to kya karte.

They go to the bushes which Jarnail had seen shaking and look around. Surya spots some marks. He sees boots with soles like none they are wearing and signs of a scuffle.
SURYAKomal madam yeh dekhiye.
KOMALDo bade shoes ke footprints aur ek ladke ke, aur phir ladke ke footprints gaayab, na aagey ja rahe hain, aur na peeche. Magar in dono ke footprints yahan se aagey ja rahe hain. Iska matlab in dono mein se kisi ne Sumeet to kandhe pe uthaya aur le gaye. To phir zyada tez nahin gaye honge. Come on guys. We can still catch up.

They begin tracking the footprints… Komal’s team expertly follows Sumeet’s tracks. A broken twig here. Footprints there. And they are on the right track.
They come to a point where the kidnappers took a break. They look around and Sudipto finds the 10 rupee note.
KOMAL We’re on the right track! Magar yeh highway ki jagah galat direction mein ja rahe hain.
61ON THE OTHER THREE
They are walking and very tired.
BOSS TELLS CHAMANChaman, tu iss ladke ke saath reh. Mujhe thoda ekaant mein sochna hai.
CHAMANEkaant mein? Aas paas hai kya ekaant?
BOSSEkaant matlab akele mein. Chaman kahin ka.

Chaman takes out a map and they check it...

BOSSVirar fast mein das rupay ka mil raha tha.

Both look at the sorry looking map. The two don’t know how to read it and read it completely wrong. They spread the map and see in it the highway is on their right so they decide to go to the right.

Instead of going towards the road they head towards the interior of the jungle! The camera moves and we see they were very close to the road...
INTERCUT WITH Komal and the others on their track.

Sumeet stops walking.

Boss searches his bag and has to give Sumeet something to eat. Summet begins to eat and throws the wrapper down.
BOSS Yeh kya hai? Yeh idhar kyun phenk raha hai. Tu samajhta hai ki koi isse dekh kar hamare peehe aa jayega? Chal Chaman, utha isse.
Chaman picks up Sumeet’s wrapper but idiotically throws his own wrapper down.
BOSS Abbey ab isse kyun phenk diya?
CHAMAN Maga yeh to mera hai.
BOSSArre kisi ko thodi pata hai ki tera hai. Utha isse bhi. Kisi ko dikha to hamare peech lag jayenge.
CHAMANAisi baat hai to boss, hum isse yahin phenkte hai aur ulti tarah hi chalte hain. Agar koi peeche aaya to voh ullu ban jayega.
BOSS (IMPRESSED)Tu jitna buddhu dikhta hai utna hai nahin!
CHAMANAap bhi boss.
Boss now checks Sumeet’s hand.
BOSSYeh dekh ladka yeh raste mein giraye ja raha hai. Isko le ja ke iss taraf gira aur phir wapas aa jana. Hum bilkul vipreet disha mein jayenge.
Boss giggles and Chaman giggles with him.
ON CHAMAN as he walk some distance and see a small ditch. He sees some leaves nearby and covers the hole with them. Then he keeps one coin on the leaves so that it’s visible. Then he turns back. He has made a trap.

Chaman does so and they take the exact opposite direction of the false trail. We see Sumeet’s hands have been tied again.
A BIT LATER... Komal and the kids come to the same place and they are fooled by the false trail and take the wrong route.
NEHAIss taraf.
Soon the trail leads to the coin and the trap underneath. Komal sees the coin and as she walks to it her she falls and twists her ankle. She yells in pain and sits down. The kids run towards her.
VIKRAMMadam kya hua?
But Komal is in great pain.
63ON THE KIDNAPPERS
SUMEETSusu karni hai mujhe.
BOSS SAYS TO CHAMANJa chaman uski madad kar.
CHAMANKabhi nahin boss.
SUMEETTo mere haath kholo.
Finally they have to open Sumeet’s tied hands. And immediately Sumeet runs. Boss and Chaman follow. A fun chase where Boss and Chaman fall and get hurt.
64EXT. RIVER - DAY
Sumeet runs towards the river. He reaches a rope bridge and crosses it at great risk. He reaches the other side.
Boss and Chaman too go after him. The rope bridge is old and about to break and just as the two reach the other side, the rope bridge breaks and falls down. The two hang from the other side. Chaman hanging from Boss’s pants. Finally they are able to pull themselves up.
Their clothes are torn and they go after Sumeet.

65EXT, JUNGLE/ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE RIVER - DAY
But finally Sumeet stops running and sees a the snake tree in his path.
He turns around and runs towards Boss and Chaman. They are puzzled to see Sumeet running towards them instead of away. And running fast he passes them on the way back.
They too see the tree full of snakes and run away. Finally they run so fast they overtake Sumeet and later manage to catch him.
BOSS IS FURIOUSBahut ho gaya!
He takes out his gun and almost hits sumeet. Now we see his serious side.
BOSSYeh koi mazaak nahin hai ladke. Maine tere jaise do bachchon ka…(indicates cutting throat)ab phir karne par majboor mat kar.
Even Chaman is surprised at the ferocious attitude and looks at Boss who winks at him. Chaman understands... Sumeet seems scared for once.
66BACK AT THE CAMP
Bhagwaan sits with the other kids. The kids are pestering him on what they should do.
KIDHey Bhagwaan, ab kya karein hum?(Bhagwaan doesn’t reply)Bhagwaan main tumse baat kar raha hoon.
BHAGWAANOhh maine socha(points skywards)Kya karein? Hum kya kar sakte hain?
KIDKya karien matlab? Hum baith kar pedh paudhon ko ugte hue dekhein kya? We should do something. We should be prepared.

A MONTAGE OF THEM CUTTING BRANCHES... making weapons from wood, spears.
One of the kids sees a watery ditch. He begins to cover it with with wood so that the kidnappers can fall into it if they step on it (the same things they had done).
67ON THE 1ST GROUP ON THE HIGHWAY
Jarnail is on the highway waiting for a car to pass. The kids with him are all sitting, waiting. Just then they hear the sound of car coming. Quickly they stand up.
JARNAILCar aa rahi hai. Chalo sab uthh jao.
All of them quickly get up and ask for lift but a car going very fast passes them without even slowing down. The kids are angry at the driver.
KID (SHOUTS)Arre yeh to ruka hi nahin. Dikhta nahin hai kya?
KID 2Itni der baad ek car aayi, voh bhi nahin ruki.
KIDBataaoon kya? Raasta block kar do! Koi nikal hi na paaye. Rukna hi padega, aur phir car mein ghus kar lift mangenge!

JARNAILNahin, aisa karna galat hoga! Agli gadi pakka rukegi. Dekhna sab log. Mujhe bharosa hai. Arre, log to ek doosre ki madad karne ka mauka dhoondte hain... yeh dekho, ek car aa rahi hai.

JARNAILDekho kaise rukta hai. Achchi tarah se lift mango. Aise... dekho aise. (Jarnail stands by the side of the road and asks for lift, but the car once again passes him by, the kids laugh, Jarnail’s angry)raasta rok do, koi car yahaan se jaane pa paaye!
Kids do hi five and gets to work excitedly bringing rocks to block the road.

Komal is hobbling. She realizes she can’t go any further.
KOMALYeh bhi abhi hona tha. Main aagey nahin ja sakti, we have to go back. Chalo. Koi aur raasta dhoondhna padega.
Komal and the kids start to turn back but only Vikram doesn’t move.

At first he finds nothing but then sees some movement a great distance away. He spots the trio in the jungle. He climbs down and tells the others what direction to take.

They too reach the valley/river where Sumeet had crossed chased by the kidnappers. But now there is no bridge.

Krishh looks at Jenny and she looks back at him. She seems concerned. Slowly he takes off his shirt and pants. The girls look the other way as he wades into the water and starts to swim. Suddenly Vikram spots something in the water.
VIKRAMWhat’s that?
SUDIPTOCrocodile! Krissh jaldi. Ek crock aa raha hai, quick.
Krishh swims faster. The kids are shocked.
72POV SHOTS
We see something starts to swim towards Krishh. Coming CLOSER AND CLOSER TO HIM.
INTERCUT BETWEEN
Krishh swimming.
The POV coming closer and closer.
The kids are alarmed and shouting.
KIDSKrishh, swim faster.
The POV is really close to Krishh now. All of them pick up stones and start throwing at the animal.
Vikram and Sudipto even wade in the water calling out.

VIKRAMHeyyy. You beast. Idhar! Lunch chahiye? Idhar aao!
SUDIPTOAhhh Tommy tommy tommy... (as if calling a dog)
We see the POV turns and looks towards Sudipto who is in the water. It starts to move towards him. Finally just as it reaches Sudipto he moves out of the water. By now Krishh too has reached the other bank and climbs on a tree.
The POV moves away from them and goes back into the water.
Krishh takes out the rope and ties it to the tree at a height. One by one the kids climb on it. Surya is the first and he gets on the rope. He’s really scared but he climbs on and begins to pull himself to the other side. We see the POV watching him from the water. At one point he almost slips but then hangs on and crosses.
Soon the others too get on the rope.
LATER... The others too have crossed over.
SUDIPTOBechara Crocodile uska lunch nikal gaya haath se.
KRISHH Waise bhi humein khata to uska pet kharaab ho jata!
All of them shake hands and hurry in the direction they saw the kidnappers.
VIKRAM Phir humein pedh par chad kar dekhna hoga.
SURYAMain jaaon, maain jaaon. River crossing mein itna maza aaya ki mujhe tree bhi climb karna hai!
Quickly he goes to the tree and climbs like a monkey. From the top he looks around and spots the kidnappers. They seem to be heading for a mountain.

73ON THE KIDNAPPERS/JUNGLE - DAY
The kidnappers are resting.
BOSSMain aas paas dekh kar aata hoon.
As Boss leaves… Sumeet takes out a game from his bag and begins playing. Chaman sees it.
CHAMANMain khel loon?
Sumeet shows him how and Chaman gets involved in the game… He sees Chaman is deeply engrossed and he tries to slip away but he comes up on Boss who catches him.
BOSSHey, tu kahan chal diya?
Summet shows his little finger. Chaman yells with joy as he has won a game…
BOSSHey Chaman, game band kar nahin to tera game baja daloonga main.
Chaman puts the game away
74ON THE KIDS
As they hear voices…
NEHAVoices! Hum zyada door nahin.
They track rapidly and find the place where someone had pissed.
SURYAKisi ne yahan...(shows the little finger)lagta hai Sumeet is making a trail of, you know. Taaki hum peecha kar sakein.
The girls make a face, yuck what a trail!
75EXT. MOUNTAIN SIDE- DAY
On the kidnappers... they reach a mountain.

BOSSOopar chadh ke dekhna chahiye. Shaayad road dikh jaaye.
With great difficult they climb the mountain. Once they are up there is a small avalanche and the rocks they were climbing on break and fall down. The sound alerts the kids.
INTERCUT ... the kids are close by.
VIKRAMCareful, hide. Voh oopar hain. kahin humein dekh na lein.(all of them hide behind trees)
JENNYWe should have some code signal. Agar koi danger ho aas paas... to...
NEHA...we will make a koel’s sound.
Surya makes a koel’s sound and Sudipto laughs.
NEHA (SCOLDS)Sudipto!

76CLIMBING THE MOUNTAIN
Neha starts to climb the mountain.
She uses the natural footholds to make her way up. She’s slowly reaching a dangerous height.
Everyone watches with their hearts in their mouths.
Neha steps on a rock. It loosens and falls down.
The kids below jump away at the last moment as the rock falls inches from them making a loud THUD. Neha too looses her footing and almost falls. Neha hangs on for dear life...
77INT. RUINS ON TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN – SAME TIME
Boss and Chaman are resting. Just then they hear the noise of the rocks falling.
BOSSMain dekhta hoon.

78EXT. MOUNTAIN TOP - DAY
He goes to the top of the cliff just as Neha climbs up.
She sees Boss a few feet away and suddenly jumps into a bush.
Boss sees a shaking bush and pulls out his gun. He begins to come towards Neha... in a few moments she will be caught.
Neha thinks quickly and taking a stone throws it on another bush. As the falling stone makes a noise Boss turns in that direction. Seeing her opportunity Neha slips away.
Boss checks the second bush and not finding anything resumes his walk around the khandhar.
Seeing that he has gone, Neha goes by the side of the cliff and gestures for others to follow.
79MONTAGE
Of the other kids climbing on the rope Neha has left for them. They tie themselves securely on the rope and climb. It’s much easier and safer for them as compared to Neha. As he climbs Surya enjoys again, he is slowly overcoming all his fears.
80ON TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN
Boss takes out his phone and tries to get a signal. He makes all kind of poses and angles to get the signal. Sometimes the signal comes and goes.
Meanwhile... Chaman is busy with Sumeet’s game. Sumeet watches him trying to free himself.
INTERCUT with the kids who have climbed up one by one. They are very excited instead of being scared.
They assemble in a corner.
VIKRAMAb hota hai asli game shuru. We have to be quiet and we have to be careful. Main battleground survey kar ke aata hoon aur phir hum strategy bana ke attack karenge. (To Sudipto and Jenny)tum dono apne yeh bright jackets utaar do, we have to camouflage.

81A MONTAGE
OF Vikram crouching down and going on an inspection.
He sees the area and shoots it using Neha’s cam. He marks everyone’s location and returns.
LATER... he shows the area to the others on the handycam.
JENNY POINTS OUTYeh entry aur exit. Aur koi raasta nahin.
SUDIPTOSabse pehle humein unko divide karna chahiye and then we rule.
They begin to make a plan.
82INT. AND EXT. KHANDAR - EVENING
Boss returns. Chaman is still playing the game.
BOSS Arre yeh khel hata mere baap.
CHAMAN PUTS IT ASIDEAb kya karein?
BOSSSignal aata hai jata hai. Thoda aaram karte hain, phir aagey dekhenge.
Sumeet is sitting and looking at the two kidnappers talking when suddenly he’s surprised to see a lazer dot moving.
Sumeet looks up in surprise and checks that both the kidnappers aren’t watching. He sees Vikram doing a thumbs up sign with the laser dot in his hand (established earlier during a song). Sumeet smiles and winks at him and just then Boss sees him smiling, quickly he moves towards Sumeet and sees in that direction but by now Vikram is gone.
BOSSKise dekh kar hans raha tha tu?
SUMEETVoh ek joke yaad aa gaya, yahaan bats hain na, unka ek jke.
BOSSLateefa sunao. Hum bhi zara hans lein. Sunao. SUNAO!

SUMEET (REMEMBERS)Voh ek baar saare bats ulte latke hue they, magar ek bat seedha latka tha. To kisi ne poocha yeh bat seedha kyun latka hai.
BOSSKyun latka tha?

Chaman laughs loudly at the joke.
BOSSKya ulta joke tha!
CHAMANUlta joke! Ha ha hhaaaa. Aap bhi bahut mazaakiya ho boss. Ha ha
BOSSAabey chup. Main thoda sone ja raha hoon, dhyaan rakhna.
He lies down and starts to snore.
Surya takes his slingshot (established earlier). He takes aim and hits Boss with a little stone. Boss feels the sting of the stone and quickly gets up. He looks around and sees Chaman smiling. He wonders who hit him.
He lies down again and again Surya hits him. Boss immediately gets up.
BOSSHey, maar kyun raha hai?
CHAMANKaun boss? Kaun? Kahan?
Boss sees the little stone and is suspicious. He goes to sleep again and for the 3rd time a stone hits him and he quickly gets up and attacks Chaman.
BOSSPathar maarega? Hain? Batoon tere ko. Boss kaun hai?
CHAMAN Aap ho boss.

BOSSTo masti mat kar mere saath. Bata raha hoon...
Chaman gulps. Boss leaves him and moves away angrily. He goes into a corner and sits down.
Chaman sits alone. He’s getting bored and picks up the game. He’s about to start playing when suddenly Sumeet lets out a gasp of horror.
CHAMAN Kya hua?
SUMEETLeopard. Wahan baahar.
Chaman smiles and casually walks up to the window and looks out. And suddenly he’s alarmed as he too sees a leopard outside the khandar!
CHAMAN PETRIFIED Boss.
Boss runs up.
BOSSAb kya hua?
CHAMANLeopard... Tendua! Matlab cheetah.
BOSSMain dekhta hoon.
OUTSIDE... we see it’s Sudipto in a leopard’s costume. In the twilight outside Chaman mistook it to be a real leopard (this is the same costume used earlier in the film during the walk scare).
Boss leaves... Chaman goes back from the window scared. He sits down on edge looking at the window. When nothing happens his eyes fall on Sumeet’s game. Slowly he looks at it then picks it up and begins to play again.
Meanwhile... Behind him we see Jenny, who’s like a gymnast, she moves in on her knees. She creeps up and quietly throws a hook to the bag the two kidnappers are carrying (the bag contains the stolen mobile phones and the valuables and money taken from Sumeet).
Jenny starts to pull the bag and Chaman almost catches it but Sumeet distracts him.

SUMMETKitna score banaya?
CHAMAN10,000 se oopar.
SUMEETUtna to main aakh band kar ke bana sakta hoon.
CHAMANAchcha? Main dikhata hoon.
He begins to play furiously and gets busy in his game.
Meanwhile Jenny pulls the bag near her. She quietly steals the money from it and then puts it back near Chaman.
She takes the money and hides it under a rock quietly showing the place to Sumeet.
JUST THEN BOSS COMES in. Quickly Jenny rolls away and hides behind a rock. She creeps out.
Boss comes in and hits Chaman on his head.
BOSSBahar kuch nahin, aur yeh tera game...
CHAMANNahin, ruko boss. Main record break karne wala hoon...
But Boss takes the game and throwing it on the ground breaks it unto pieces by stepping on it repeatedly.
CHAMAN CRIES Nahinnnn...
BOSSYeh le tera record break ho gaya.
Chaman picks up the pieces and still tries to play the game but it’s gone.
As Boss turns around he finds the money bag open, he comes near it and checks it. He finds the money missing.
BOSSEhh Chaman kahin ke. Paisa kahan gaya?

CHAMANIssi mein to hoga.
BOSSNahin hai ismein. (turns to Sumeet)oye ladke tune dekha?
SUMEET (SCARED)Nahin... main... mujhe darrr lagta hai.
BOSSBATA.
SUMEETYeh Chaman ne le kar udhar chupaya hai. Usne kaha ki maine bataye to mere ko maar dega.
Boss finds the money there and says to Chaman
BOSSMere se chori! Itni seena jori!
CHAMANNahin boss. Ladka jhoot bol raha hai.
Chaman and Boss begin to fight (the kids have successfully separated them).
As the two are fighting... Sumeet sees his opportunity. Behind him we see Jenny creeps up and frees him.
Quickly the two turn and escape. As the two run into another room they are shocked as THEY RUN INTO BOSS AND CHAMAN!
Boss pulls out his gun and holds the two. He puts the gun on Sumeet’s head.
BOSSJitney bhi ho bahar aa jao. Nahin to...
He has caught the kids red handed and one by one all the kids come out from hiding.
BOSS Mujhe pata tha Chaman mujhe dhokha nahin de sakta, itna dimaag nahin hai ismein. Hum dono bees saal se saath hain.

CHAMANHaan remand home se hi boss mera boss ban gaya tha.
BOSSMujhe shaq tha koi to aur hai yahan pe. Chal Chaman, baandh de sasuron ko.
Chaman ties them up.
BOSS TO CHAMANAb hum chalte hain. Magar pehle ek kaam.
He takes a knife and makes a small cut on Vikram’s hand.
BOSSSuna hai cheetah door se hi khoon soongh leta hai. Ab tum banoge uska dinner. Ta ta.
Taking Sumeet with them the two kidnappers leave.
ON THE KIDS... as they are tied down.
They can’t free themselves. They are struggling...
JUST WHEN THEY HEAR THE GROWL OF A REAL LEOPARD.
NEHA Lagta hai sach main asli leopard... We have to free ourselves.
Through the window we can see something moving towards the ruins.
The kids struggle but they are tightly tied up.
Suddenly Sudipto’s eyes fall the game that Boss had broken. He sees a sharp metal piece in it.
Sudipto slides to it and takes it in his fingers. Slowly he begins to cut the rope.
SUDIPTODaro mat, main hoon na. Main bachoonga sabko.
He cuts the rope but it’s having no effect.
Meanwhile Vikram, who’s very athletic wriggles his wrist and manages to free his hands from the rope. Quickly he frees Krishh. Who frees Neha and the others.

All of them turn and see Sudipto is still stupidly struggling trying to cut his rope with the small piece of metal.
SUDIPTOMain hoon na. Main bachoonga sabko.
The others shake their heads and run up to him. Sudipto looks at them...
SUDIPTOBas ho gaya, bas do minute aur. Bas...
He continues struggling and then stops and sees that the others are free. Neha opens his hands as the others laugh. Sudipto sulks for the first time.
SUDIPTOBas ho gaya tha, in a few seconds I would have freed myself.
VIKRAM (TO EVERYONE)Leopard itne saare logon ko dekh kar attack nahin karega, aur agar voh paas aata hai to stand straight, voh hamari height se dar jayega. Ok? Come on now.
All of them rush out...
83EXT. ON TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN - DAY
Vikram is furious.
VIKRAMUnhone humein maarne ki koshish ki, chodenge nahin unhein.
Vikram takes the binocs and sees the two kidnappers making their down the mountain. They can see the highway from there.
NEHAVoh to jaldi hi higway pahunch jayenge.
JENNYIt’s time for fireworks.
As the others go down the mountain one by one Jenny lights up the rockets that go high in the air and burst.

84ON THE TWO OTHER GROUPS – EVENING
As they see the rockets in the air. Jarnail on the highway says.
JARNAIL (TO HIS GROUP)Chalo. Lagta hain unhein Sumeet aur voh dono badmaash mil gaye hain. (He takes out his walkie talkie and talks in it)hello, hello...
ON Komal too sees the rockets. She talks on the walkie talkie to Jarnail. We don’t hear what they are saying...
85MONTAGE/INTERCUT BETWEEN THE THREE GROUPSB - EVENING
We see this in split screen. As the three group talk and co-ordinate. As Vikram and his group comes into range, they talk on walkie talkies.
Vikram takes out his map and gives the coordinates of where the kidnappers are.
Komal understands the directions and talks to Jarnail and the others to head for that direction.
We see that all three groups surround and come towards the kidnappers.
86NEAR THE HIGHWAY
KOMAL TALKS TO JARNAILJarnail voh tumhari taraf aa rahe hain. Tum andar ki taraf aao. Make lots of noise so they come towards us.
JARNAILWaise hi jaise purane zamane mein jungli jaanwar ka shikaar karte they? Hain na?
KOMALHaan, magar yahan per jaanwar aur bhi khatarnaak hai. Dhayan se.
ON THE KIDNAPPERS as they are making their way to the highway.
Suddenly they hear loud voices from the trees in front of them. They hear drums sounds DUM DUM DUM DUM... and they hear shouts and cries. It’s as if a mob is coming after them...

Boss and Chaman are a bit scared. They change direction. They turn to their left and we see they head straight for the place where Komal and her group are waiting for them. Slowly they are being made to go where Komal wants them to go.
WE SEE... the noises are being made by Jarnail and his group of kids who are shouting and talking loudly and beating a metallic can to scare the kidnappers.
THE KIDNAPPERS are forced towards the trap...
As Boss and Chaman walk pulling Sumeet with them... they are on high alert. Boss holds his gun and is ready to shoot at anyone he sees. Chaman has taken out a knife and holds it in his hand ready to slice any attacker.
The two look really dangerous.
ON THE KIDS... we see some kids watching the two make their way through the trees. Sumeet looks around and sees one of the boys sitting amongst the trees well camouflaged.
The boy gestures to Sumeet to go down. Sumeet doesn’t understand but then he sees the kids hidden in the trees are holding a rope/vine in their hands and all of the ropes vines have rocks tied on them. Suddenly Komal whistles and all the kids leave the vines and they begin to swing towards the kidnappers.
Summet sees this and instantly jumps down. He lies flat on the ground as the rocks swing towards the kidnappers. A few of them miss but then some of them hit their mark and the two kidnappers are flung down to the ground by the swinging rock pendulums.
As the two kidnappers try to quickly get up more ropes are swung and they continue being hit. Sumeet lies down and watches the fun.
A crazy Boss reaches for his gun and starts to shoot wildly and the kids instantly run away.
Boss and Chaman stand up. The two are hurt and bruised but otherwise fine.
BOSS Sabke chitade kar doonga main, sabke!
The two begin to quickly walk away again.
ON THE KIDS... as they are ready with the next trap. A laser dot falls on Sumeet. He looks in that direction and sees a kid making a gesture stop, don’t walk.

Sumeet again doesn’t understand but stops walking to focus on what they are trying to tell him.
But Boss and Chaman keep on walking and suddenly the earth under their feet collapses and they fall in a ditch of muddy water face first. We see that the kids had covered the muddy ditch of water with a net and had sprinkled leaves and mud over it to make it look like ground. And as the two kidnappers stepped on it the net collapsed and they fell into the ditch.
They now look dirty and covered in mud.
CHAMAN IS SHOUTINGBachao bachao, dal dal mein phans gaya mein. Mein doob raha hoon. Bachon boss.
It looks like he’s really going down when Boss pulls him up.
BOSSArre dal dal nahin hai yeh. Khada ho ja.
Chaman stands on his feet and realizes he’s fine and not sinking.
Now Boss looks around and sees Sumeet is trying to get away. He shouts
BOSSRuk ja ladke nahin to goli maar doonga.
And Sumeet stops running. Boss and Chaman get out of the ditch and catch Sumeet.
They pull him and begin to walk away.
As they reach another place a kid pulls a string and a net comes down on the three. But Boss and Chaman jump away and Sumeet is trapped in the net.
At least he is freed from them. Boss and Chaman stand alongside each other. One by one they see that the kids come out from all around them.
From one side emerge Vikram and his group. From the other emerge Jarnail and his group. From the third side walk out Bhagwaan with his kids. And last of all stands Komal.
The kidnappers are surrounded by kids from all sides. But Boss pulls out his gun.

BOSSMain maar daloonga is ladke ko. Sabko maar daaloonga. Ruk jao wahin par. (Boss puts his gun on Sumeet)bahut ho gaya, isko to main maar hi deta hoon. Bas! Phir main tum sabko kidnap kar ke tumhare ghar waalon se rokda ainth loonga. Main bahut danger hoon, bahut danger.
CHAMANAur main bhi.
Sudipto quietly takes out a rocket and aims it at Boss. He lights the rocket and taking aim sends it towards Boss. The rocket flies towards him startling him and he removes the gun from Sumeet.
Sumeet jumps away and the rocket misses Boss but goes from just behind Chaman.
Komal now jumps at Boss and the two struggle to get control of the gun. Komal is strong too and uses judo to fling Boss off balance.
But the gun is still in his hand. Boss takes the gun and says everyone stop where they are. He turns the gun towards the sky and fires and everyone is quiet but the bullet from his gun unfortunately hits a coconut and it falls right on his head.
He becomes woozy and falls down. Komal takes his gun away.
Meanwhile... Chaman still has the knife in his hand and thinks that his pants are on fire (although it’s not). The kids look at each other.
Chaman realizes he is all right. He turns to the kids and shows his knife.
The kids (all of them) look at each other making up their mind.
KOMAL COMMANDSGuys, get ready to attack.
Chaman and boss stand up slowly. Boss still hurting.
KOMALCharge on three. One...
BOSS AND CHAMAN (VERY SCARED)Hey. Ruk jao, maar dalenge hum. Jo aayega usse kaat daalenge.

Instantly Vikram and group attack Chaman. Vikram swings a stick and hits Chaman whose knife falls down. And the kids awarm the two like bees. Chaman and Boss are and captured.
Everyone rejoices. They’re all friends and have had the most amazing adventure ever.
The kidnappers are tied up and pulled. The kids reach the camp.
87EXT. CAMPFIRE – THAT NIGHT
Everyone watches. The kidnappers are tied up. Jarnail pulls the carburator out of the kidnappers’ bag…
JARNAILMil gaya carburator!
KOMALAb kal subah subah hum wapas challenge. Magar abhi ke liye...
SUMEET (SPEAKS UP)Komal madam. Main kuch kehna chahta hoon.
KOMALHaan bolo sumeet.
SUMEET (SLOWLY)I’m sorry for my behaviour. Everyone I’m sorry. (begins to cry)main itna bura tha, phir bhi tum sab ne, apni jaan katre mein daal kar... (breaks down)
Komal walks up to him and hugs him. She wipes his tears. Her eyes too are watery. She then gestures to the kids - come up and give him a hug.

Vikram and group come up and hug. Everyone emotional and happy. Jarnail and Bhagwaan to walk up. All of them make a huddle like the Indian cricket team. Some of them are crying, supporting each other...
Finally Sumeet wipes his tears and frees himself
SUMEET Ek minute. Eh aur kaam karna hai. (comes upto the kidnappers, everyone watches)Ab batao, boss kaun hai?(kidnappers are quiet)batao? Kaun hai?(quiet, Sumeet shouts)BATAOOOOOOO!
BOSS AND CHAMAN (SCARED OF HIM)Aap log ho boss! Aap ho maaiy baap. Aap ho boss.
Everyone laughs and celebrates... theme song begins... Krishh dances with Jenny. Neha with Sumeet. Surya has a snake in his hand and dances. Bhagwaan and Jarnail do the bhangra.
