Robert H . Histand was a Pennsylvania Dutchman who devoted his life to serving others . This highly respected businessman was a great friend and mentor to Border Concepts and a legend in the tool industry . In early 2000, we asked Bob to design the best tools for the trade, which he accomplished . Much to our sadness, Bob passed away in spring of 2002 just weeks prior to our first production run . Because of his dedication and contribution of wisdom, spirit, time and heart, to both the industry and Border Concepts, we proudly introduce the Robert H. Histand Signature Tool Series. Our heartfelt thanks to Sarah, his wife, and his family for allowing us to honor him in this way: Robert H . Histand (1941-2002) .
