Choice of three cultural tours, exploring Transylvania.

If you are interested in Transylvanias customs, legends, beliefs and superstitions, you

enjoy getting acquainted with a place through a longer period of time and you like to getin contact with the genuine peasant culture by exploring rural areas, the houses of famous

artists, craftsmen and museums or landscapes made famous in literature, then our cultural

    tours are the perfect choice.

We have a choice of three different tours, concentrating on Northern Transylvania or

Southern Transylvania, or taking in the best of both.

From the capital city of Romania Bucharest, once surnamed the little Paris, the itinerary

continues with Sinaia, the pearl of mountain resorts in Romania and then takes you to the

heart of Transylvania, in Bran, home to the mysterious Bran Castle, continues with

Rasnov, the largest peasant citadel, the Saxon medieval city of Brasov, and it includeseven the best preserved and still inhabited medieval citadel in Europe, Sighisoara, Vlad

    the Implalers birth place.

Youll also visit the magic realm of Maramures. Here youll make the acquaintance of a

famous wood craftsman, who will show you how history can be carved in wood. In the

medieval citadel of Bistrita youll meet Misiuga, the honourable Baron of Dracula, whostands as a testimony for Transylvanias history. The tour includes, on the house, one

night accommodation in a 5* hotel in Bucharest and a mouth-watering welcome dinner.

    Northern Transylvania

The meticulously, carefully planned itinerary is focused on bringing out the essence ofTransylvanias culture and provide a direct contact with the genuine peasant culture by

exploring rural areas and houses of famous artists.

Highlights include the worldwide famous monasteries in Bucovina, UNESCO World

Heritage Sites, (including Voronet Monastery the Sistine Chapel of the Est), the unique

    Machu Pichu

Something simply magical characterizes Peru. How else could so many amazing qualitiesbe found in just one country? To begin to unravel the mystery of modern day Peru, first

we must travel back to the origins of the country as the birthplace of the Inca Empire.

You will have the chance to visit Cuzco, capital city of the Inca Empire and oldestcontinuously inhabited city in all of South America, as well as the famed sanctuary of

Machu Picchu, a structure so impressive that modern day scholars still struggle to explain

its construction without the aid of modern engineering and equipment. In Lima, youll

find much of Perus rich colonial history coexisting with the elements of a modern, thriving capital city. As you find yourself meeting colorful and friendly locals, you will

peruse their world renowned crafts while being serenaded by the soothing sounds of the

Peruvian flute. It will become easy to see why Peru holds such a dear place in the hearts

    of so many travelers.

    NorwayFJORDS AND MOUNTAINS

Last updated: 24/06/2010 // Along parts of the coastline, the sea penetrates deep into the

mountain wilderness and form the world-famous Norwegian fjords.

Sailing into the Norwegian fjords, you find yourself in a landscape that very few places

can offer. You sit on deck and glide through the majestic scenery, with steep cliffs

towering over you on both sides. High above you, water and glaciers form beautiful

waterfalls that dance down the almost vertical mountainsides.

Beneath you swims what could be dinner. You cast your line into the fjord and seabirds

flap around the boat as you reel in the freshest of mackerel. On narrow rock ledges stand

small, abandoned crofts, testament to the tough and lonely life lived here until recently.

There are small villages spread throughout this area, and the people here make the fjords

easily accessible. When you jump off the boat at the end of a fjord, you are free to go on

a guided glacierwalk or mountain tour, or find your own way to restaurants serving local

food. It might be the season for lamb.

Stretches of the fjord and mountain areas of the west coast of Norway are on UNESCOs

list of World Heritage Sites. Bold colours and fresh air lead many to declare these areas

among the most beautiful anywhere in the world.

For those in search of their own piece of paradise - some of the Capes most desirable &private residences.
