people have been asking us why do we have to go through so much to sell Thai craft beer in Thailand and one question keep coming up is if we brew our beer abroad then how can we still claim it to be a “Thai Craft beer”.

Pursuing our dream is what drives us! Our goal in life is happiness.If given a shot at it, wouldn’t you want to follow your dream? 

if you ask us what do we want from making beer, what outcome or goals we are after, is it money? Fame? No….Our Goal? I We want to come back to brew in Thailand and we know it one of the biggest obstacle that we need to overcome. Countless hours will be dedicated to the cost, it will takes a lot of energy from us. We know its not going to be a walk in the park however, that sensation that we get when we see the first barrel rolling out of our filling line will make it all worth it.For now we have to stick to our plan and venture on this direction. We are Bootleg Brothers, total of 3 brewers each with different background and idea. we came together for creative idea and for new flavors, helping each one another in order to pursue our dream together. 

Today our dream just came a step closet to reality. We are proud to  put our own flavors and twist into the bottle for our brothers and sister in Thailand or any other nation to try. we believe that this will help us put our foot back to our home in Thailand. . Even if today we have to turn the world over seeking for  the freshest ingredient from the farm. Every ingredient we put in have been selected with utmost care. For our beer to get that fresh taste

The basics, water, malt, hops and yeast. At Bootleg Brothers we channel our focus in delivering this to you. We’ve been to countless countries and brewery until we found one that fits all of our checklist. We found a brewery that was built around the ecosystem to bring out the best in the ingredients. Natural spring water, fresh farm ground malts, seasonally harvested hops and an in house yeast. It cant get any better than this. All this coming together for your enjoyment.

PETCHISLAND HOPPERFermentationist by traits Khun Petch. Grew up in the world of hospitality work in the kitchen since he was young growing up in the love of cooking and passion for crafting local produce. His main work as a Thai Cheese Maker. He have create wide range of cheeses and dairy product, his works in Thailand are well known in the industry especially in the cheese world in Thailand.

He grew a love for brewing when he met our Master Brewers over 10 years ago. In the past couple of years dated back in early 2015 their work of fine tune craft beer began together. Secretly brewing in Kaoyai. One day he suggest to stop secretly brewing and start a brewing company

Just like the name  suggest this lager is a twist from the traditional lager. Its crisp, smooth, light bodied with a hint of citrus from the Ella hops.  A beautiful light bodied and clear gold in color.Made from Pale two row malt. With just the right amount of bitterness from drying hopping the Citra. This is the lager you want after a long hot day to make you feel like next to the shores again. A perfect starting pint for a great night out.

Inspired by one of our founder, he wanted to change the taste of what a lager should be. He decided to make it hoppier. Being restricted by choice from the mundane taste. He felt the need to revolt. Traveling around the islands until he found the perfect hop to complete his quest. He decided on the Ella. He didn’t want an overly bitter lager. He wants to replicate the feel of being free and not restricted to border. Hoping from one island to the other. Also he always had a dream of becoming a surfer.

ISLAND HOPPER

CHAMPPEAK-A-BREWRemember the 1990s when everything was neon and flashing light. that is when champ was really born. He was attended college for the past 5 years and he’s still a freshman. champ spent day in his bunk bed and his night as a bartender. In Commonwealth Ave, his specialty was a Cosmopolitan. His nick name was the fire starter. But what he did when the bar was closed, he filled his growler, went home and taste every sip of it. He loved beer, all beer! 

Champ grew a love of brewing when he came back to Thailand after years and years of a typical Thai lager he misses his good craft beer that he use to filled his growler with. with many of the import beer being expensive Champ went on his own way to brew beer secretly in his own creation of brewing facility. He create a state of the art home brew area with fermenting room. His passion and desire show in his brewing equipment and design which in the end came through to his beer. Champ loves IPA and have been trying to make it better and better every time

This name is perfect for our “Master Brewer”, he reside in the in a small wood cabin in the area of “Khao Yai” (which means Big mountain). Hiding his small underground brewing lab, testing out his experiments like a mad scientist on a mission. Brewing day in and day out with no contact to the outside. Its was his passion, it was first thing on his mind when he woke up and the last in his head before he slept.

Full flavored IPA with a harmonious blend of flavors. Its a hybrid Aussie/American IPA crisp,  floral, aromatic with enough bitterness  to make it your easy to drink and go to IPA.  The combination of of the Centennial, Mosaic and City gives it strong Bitterness of a traditional American flavor. Add to that the Aussie farm grown Vic Secret hop completes the blend into one unique and sumptuous flavor.

MANAKMR. GALACTIC PORTERA business man by trait Manak has dip his toe into numerous venture over the course of his adult life. Be it a day trader, a tailor or and online retailer. He never found much in the values of sitting behind a desk and confiding his creativity in a corporate environment.  He has a single core value which is to be believe in the product he wants to deliver to the market. He saw this passion reflected in his Brewer, Champ. He believes that change starts from one person. He knew that Champ has turned his idea of what beer should taste. Manak was in Khao Yai when he first met Champ and tasted his Amber Ale. That is one moment that changed his perception forever

An out of this world flavor. A Full bodied delicious porter that pours dark under a beautiful creamy head and drinks smooth with hints of coffee bean and cocoa and dark, earthy notes throughout. with the just the right amount of bitterness from the exclusively Aussie grown Topaz hops. This robust porter incorporates the perfect balance of taste of roasted flavor from the coffee beans and the heartiness from the cocoa. Made with Vienna, Chocolate, Roasted Barley and Crystal malts.
