Dear Friend,
The response to our "You Decide" challenge was overwhelming -- and the results are in!
Thousands and thousands of the EMILY's List community voted to tell us which House candidatesshould get an extra boost right before the critical June 30 filing deadline -- and as usual, your instinctswere spot-on. You chose three tenacious women waging strong campaigns in extremely competitiveraces -- Tammy Duckworth, Val Demings, and Louise Slaughter.
It's time for another overwhelming response. These women all need your help right now.Contribute to Tammy, Val, and Louise before the critical June 30 deadline.
A war hero and champion for veterans, Illinois's Tammy Duckworth is ready to send Tea PartyRep. Joe Walsh -- one of the most extreme Republicans in the House -- packing.Val Demings was the first ever woman Police Chief of Orlando and is a staunch advocate forwomen and families. She's running a no-nonsense campaign to take back a seat from Tea PartyRep. Dan Webster, and she's exactly the woman for the job.A powerful Democratic leader from New York, redistricting has left Louise Slaughter in a toughrace against Republican challenger Maggie Brooks. Founder of the Congressional Pro-ChoiceCaucus, Louise is a champion for women's rights and a leading advocate for women in theHouse -- let's make sure she holds on to her crucial seat!
Click here to rush a contribution to Tammy, Val, and Louise -- this extra boost will make anenormous difference in these tough races. These women need your support before 11:59 PM onJune 30!
Remember, voting for your chosen candidate was only the first step. Now let's give these amazingwomen the resources they need to power through the summer months -- and help Val and Tammybeat back the Tea Party and help Louise hold onto a critical seat.
Thanks for your support.
Sincerely,
Jonathan ParkerPolitical Director
P.S. Thanks to everyone who voted and every campaign that worked so hard to turn out thegrassroots support. A special shout out to Lois Frankel and Kathy Boockvar who just missed the topthree!

The online clearinghouse for Democratic Action
Dear Janice,
This November, the stakes are higher than people want to admit. Yes, it's about the White House. Yes, it's about Congress. Butbeneath all that it's about how we run this country, not just who runs it.
At ActBlue, we've got simple answers to those questions: for the people, and by them. When you make a $15 recurring contribution toActBlue, you're putting your money on a promise as old as this country--that the American people should have a powerful voice in theirpolitics.
But there's another game in town, one that's just as old. Its players say, "sure, the people should have a voice." Then they say, "let metell you who's a person." And finally: "this is what counts as a voice."
This is the long American fight, a battle that extends from the Age of Enlightenment to the Age of the Internet. Mitt Romney and theRepublicans have picked their side. We've picked the other one, the one you don't need a law degree to understand:
Real people, real choices, real voices.
Support ActBlue
From all of us at ActBlue, thanks.

Janice --
I grew up in the White House. I remember as a small child visiting my father in the Oval Office while he worked.
But really, we could have been growing up in any American home. We were just children, happy to see our dad -- even if he was stepping out of ahelicopter that had landed on our front lawn.
That's why, on Father's Day, I'm thinking of Michelle Obama and the girls, and the time they'll get to spend with the President as a family.
I can appreciate how long the days can be -- and how wonderful it feels to know that, no matter how full your father's plate is, you're the best partof his day and the most important part of his life.
So I'm joining Michelle and others all around the country to wish the President a happy Father's Day.
As you acknowledge a special father figure in your own life, I hope you'll join me by adding your name to tell Barack how much he means to all ofus:
http://my.barackobama.com/Fathers-Day
Thanks, and happy Father's Day to every dad out there.
Caroline
P.S. -- I love this video of Michelle talking about Barack as a father -- take a second for this today.

I'll be going to a special event at George Clooney's house in a few weeks, and two grassroots supporters and their guests will join us.
The only thing we've still got to figure out is whether two spots belong to you and your guest -- or somebody else and theirs.
So let's nail it down: Any donation you make today will automatically enter you and a guest to win.
Once you decide who you're inviting to join you, we'll be all set. The campaign will take care of your airfare and hotel for you.
Please pitch in $3 or whatever you can today, and keep your May 10th clear:
https://donate.barackobama.com/Clooney-and-Me
Hope to see you soon.
Barack

Janice --
This is a monumentally important year, to say the least.
We need to re-elect President Obama, hold on to the Senate, and take back the House.
If we're not successful, Republicans are threatening to cut women's access to preventive care, repeal Obamacare, and craft economic policies that will throw the middle class under the bus.
That's why, with just about four months left until Election Day, we all need to get involved in the fightas best we can.
With a donation of $3 or more today, you can join that fight and become a contributingmember of the Democratic Party in 2012.
Having you join our 2012 effort is important to us. So we want to sweeten the deal.
By donating today, not only will you become a contributing member this year, but you'll also beautomatically entered to be one of four Democrats we'll fly to Washington D.C. to meet our Chair,Debbie Wasserman Schultz, for lunch -- airfare and hotel are on us.
We're expanding state operations across the country and making decisions that will affect theoutcome of races at every level. Your donation will give us the ability to send more resources tobattleground states -- that means more staff and supplies where it's most critical.
And that's why we need you to join the ranks of thousands of other Democrats across the country tostop Republicans from being able to push their right wing agenda in the fall.
Donate $3 or whatever you can today to become a contributing member of the DemocraticNational Committee in 2012 and to be automatically entered for a chance to win a trip to D.C.for lunch with our Chair, Rep. Wasserman Schultz:
