Forming Sentences in the Plural (Knowing which subject pronoun & matching verb ending to use)

FORMULA

1st. ‘I’ + noun/ pronoun = ‘We’ 2nd. ‘You’ + noun/ pronoun = ‘You’ all 3rd. ‘He’/’She’/’It’, + noun(s) = ‘They’

1st. If the ‘mixed’ plural subject of the verb includes ‘I’ : Use the ‘We’ (Nosotros) ending of the verb 2nd. If the plural subject of the verb includes ‘You’ (but not ‘I’ ) = Use the ‘You’ all* (Ustedes) ending of the verb** 3rd. If the plural subject of the verb includes a noun, ‘He’/’She’/’It’, ’ (but not ‘I’ or ‘You’) = Use the ‘They* (Ellos/Ellas) ending of the verb

*NOTE: Plural of ‘Vd.’ (You)= Ustedes

**NOTE: Plural of ‘Tú’ (You)= Ustedes** ** except in Spain
