Responsibilities:
Manage Human Development Support Unit (HDSU) as an autonomous and
operational independent unit for achieving the mission and objectives of National
Commission for Human Development, at the district level.
Lead the district team to achieve the set targets in Education/Literacy, Health,
community development/Volunteerism and Capacity Development within set time
frame and the allocated budget.
Act as the integration point for all the programs and for all the partners/stakeholders

involving them in the programs, with the objective of capitalizing on their strengths.
Coordinate/liaise with the any other organization/entity in the district that may be
helpful in the implementation/success of the programs.
Conduct day to day administrative activities of the office.
Ensure complete adherence to rules and regulation listed in the organization’s policy
manual.
Maintain and produce, as and when required, any record/document that may be
required by any program director/functional head.
Implement an effective, efficient and transparent procedure for the utilization of
funds.
Follow the spirit of economizing by controlling the unnecessary expenses.
Organize frequent meetings/get –together functions with the important stakeholders
and partners for building the organization’s rapport.
Coordinate the visit of delegates coming to districts. This includes all the physical
arrangements and meetings/presentations about the programs’ implementation.
Identify training needs of the Government’s line departments. Partner CSOs’ elected
representatives and the community.
Conduct monitoring and evaluation in accordance with the procedure approved by
the respective program directors.
Facilitate the monitoring and evaluation visit conducted by the head office or by a
