“udlap offered me great opportunities to grow. I had to learn a different and new way of studying and now I feel completely integrated to this international context.

The university supported me in my hardest moments and helped me integrate easily thanks to all the events

organized with the aim of discovering the university and the services offered. udlap creates many moments that

allow students to feel like they belong to a community. Moreover, the spaces in campus offered a wide variety

of services like gardens, gym, sports, library, auditorium, and computer labs. This environment allowed me enjoy

the most my student-life. During this experience, I had the chance to meet students from all over the world, learn

different things, and open my mind to new challenges. I had unforgettable moments here”.

study in mexicostudy at udlap

Studying at udlap for one month has been an incredible experience. Meeting new people, exploring the culture of Mexico, and understanding a little more about the

Spanish language have all been so valuable, and aspects of the program I will never forget. I have loved learning

Spanish here in Mexico and being here has inspired me to continue my learning in England, and hopefully return to

Mexico, especially as I have made some wonderful friends here. I have also loved trying the food (which is delicious,

if not a little spicy) and exploring Cholula, as well as other parts of Mexico. Having the Salsa and cooking classes

were also great for giving us a taste of some of traditional parts of Mexico, of which I enjoyed the salsa classes so

much! All the staff I have met have been so friendly and helpful, I have no doubt I will not forget them. I would

definitely recommend this experience to anyone interested in the culture of Mexico or the Spanish language.

International Student from the United Kingdom Summer 2017

The “Amigos Internacionales” is a group of udlap students who help our international exchange students integrate into life at udlap as well as to adapt to the customs and activities in Mexico. This group receives all exchange students at the International Arrivals exit of Mexico City’s “Benito Juarez International Airport” or the “Hermanos Serdan International Airport” during the first day of the Orientation Week to guide them to udlap.

In case a student would like to arrive prior to the Orientation Week at udlap, the international exchange coordinator at the udlap International Affairs Office will send specific instructions via e-mail.
