AV Jn 1:1 . In the beginning was the Word, and theWord was with God, and the Word was God.

AV Jn 1:2 The same was in the beginning withGod.

AV Jn 1:3 All things were made by him; and without himwas not any thing made that was made.

AV Jn 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light ofmen.

AV Jn 1:5 . And the light shineth in darkness; and thedarkness comprehended it not.

AV Jn 1:6 There was a man sent from God, whose name[was] John.

AV Jn 1:7 The same came for a witness, to bear witnessof the Light, that all [men] through him might believe.

AV Jn 1:8 He was not that Light, but [was sent] to bearwitness of that Light.

AV Jn 1:9 [That] was the true Light, which lighteth everyman that cometh into the world.

AV Jn 1:10 He was in the world, and the world wasmade by him, and the world knew him not.

AV Jn 1:11 He came unto his own, and his own received

him not.

AV Jn 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gavehe power to become the sons of God, [even] to themthat believe on his name:

AV Jn 1:15 . John bare witness of him, and cried, saying,This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me ispreferred before me: for he was before me.

AV Jn 1:16 And of his fulness have all we received, andgrace for grace.

AV Jn 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, [but] graceand truth came by Jesus Christ.

AV Jn 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the onlybegotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, hehath declared [him].

AV 1Jn 1:1 . That which was from the beginning, whichwe have heard, which we have seen with our eyes,which we have looked upon, and our hands havehandled, of the Word of life;

AV 1Jn 1:2 (For the life was manifested, and we haveseen [it], and bear witness, and shew unto you thateternal life, which was with the Father, and wasmanifested unto us;)

AV 1Jn 1:3 That which we have seen and heard declarewe unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us:and truly our fellowship [is] with the Father, and with hisSon Jesus Christ.

AV 1Jn 1:4 And these things write we unto you, that yourjoy may be full.

AV 1Jn 1:5 . This then is the message which we haveheard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, andin him is no darkness at all.

AV 1Jn 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with him,and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

AV 1Jn 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in thelight, we have fellowship one with another, and the bloodof Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

AV 1Jn 1:8 . If we say that we have no sin, we deceiveourselves, and the truth is not in us.

AV 1Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and justto forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from allunrighteousness.
