• A 10-11ft., single handed fly-rod with an 8-9 weight floating line is recommended

• A 12-15ft., double handed fly-rod can be advantageous in certain climatic conditions, with matching lines to suit• Useful flies would be Ally’s shrimp, Cascade, Willie gunn,

Stoat’s tail, Silver rat, Collie dog• A selection of flies can be purchased at the Erriff Fishery office • Rod hire available

Tackle

All anglers must have a valid state salmon and sea-trout licence to fish with Erriff Fishery
