The survey will inform school planning and is part of the 5P planning model that all public schools are required to complete by the end of Term 1 2015. Please take the time to read and complete the survey, due back to school by the end of next week. Students who return the survey will receive a free ice block. Today we welcome back Mrs Henderson who has been away on leave for the past 3 weeks. The K-4 Swim Scheme K-4 Swim Scheme commences on the 24 th November. As of Friday there were only 19 places remaining for students wishing to participate. 2015 Lake Ainsworth Excursion Students who will be in Year 5 or 6 in 2015 will be participating in the Lake Ainsworth Excursion towards the end of Term1. A $50 deposit for this excursion is required by Friday 21 st November. Remembrance Day Tomorrow Bonville Public School will observe Remembrance Day from 10:50am with a small service and a minute silence. All students are encouraged to bring along a small bunch of flowers to lay by the flag as a mark of respect. Year 1/2 Maths Year 1/2 enjoyed constructing floor graphs after tallying various activities they could complete in 1 minute Bouquet of flowers Christine Constable and Bettina Hoenselaars thank you for doing an outstanding job in the office during Mrs Henderson’s absence. P&C News The next P&C meeting will be held this Wednesday 12 th November from 7pm in the library. Everyone is welcome to attend! SRC fundraising $1 a scoop ice-creams this Thursday at recess. Toormina High School News Week 2 of the Drama, Food Tech and Art enrichment courses will be held this Wednesday at Toormina High School. 2015 School Captain The 2015 School Captain speeches will be presented on Friday 21 st November in the Memorial Hall from 9:30am. Canteen News Bonville’s last Meal Deal day will be held on Friday 21st November to celebrate ‘WORLD FISHERIES DAY’. Order forms for the Meal Deal day go home today. Library News Overdue notices have gone home. Please encourage your child to look for and return any overdue books. This keeps the books in circulation and assists with the upcoming stocktake. Invoices will have to be sent out for overdue books that are not returned. The last borrowing week will be Week 8 and all library books and home readers need to be returned by Week 9.
