In the world there are not enough qualified teachers to teach computer programing to children, therefore,

schools and parents need to use online platforms to make children learn these skills.

The current platforms that teach children to code are making them see programming as something boring or

complicated and don’t offer enough tools to make teachers feel confident for teaching.

Bomberbot is a game that teaches children between the ages of 7 to 11 how to program in an easy and simple way.

Pupils develop digital skills and become familiar with programming concepts in a playful environment that shows them that coding is all about creativity and imagination. During children’s learning process, they

create games themselves, becoming creators of technology and challenging other players to solve the

masterpieces they have built.

Based on teachers’ need to teach programming, Bomberbot schools is a tool built for teachers to help them give lessons

in programming even if they don't have advanced ICT knowledge. By providing a curriculum in

programming composed by 16 lessons and the possibility of tracking children's progress in the platform, teachers feel more confident when teaching this subject. (Bomberbot

lessons are being built based on the UK school’s curriculum for programming to children).

In Bomberbot children don’t just play a game, they are encouraged to code and create their own

games. Once done, they can share their creations challenging other kids to solve their

“masterpieces”.

The result are countless hours of playing as well as possibilities within the game, which all result in a constant growth of learning programming skills.
