lives and works in The Hague, The Netherlands.
In the studio of Francien Krieg a glass is displayed with bird skulls and a
small fetus in a jar. It is noticeable that transience of nature intrigues her.
In the work of Krieg the theme of transience concentrates on the naked
body of elderly women. Krieg paints the naked woman unpolished and
realistic, as a pure human being. The beauty of imperfection becomes
clear in her raw, poetic art and has the capacity to touch the observer.
Krieg always painted human beings. At first she was intrigued by the
form of the human body, but gradually her fascination with the texture
and the colors of the human skin increased which is expressed in her
realistic style. The wrinkles and varicose veins of the elderly are to most
people an illustration of imperfection, but to me they depict beauty.
According to me, a smooth, polished skin is less interesting then an aged
skin. Painting the unpolished, aged skin is a way to express the inside.

“Day to day situations, habitual, that present themselves for an instant and without notice, like still and unique moments. Amaze, move and she transcript them through her own language, the visual, filtering it with the same feeling that generate
in one’s soul.
Moments turned over the canvas through the shape’s expression, the gesture and the color, to be
returned as eternal.”

In the work of Mabel Montes, we find
certain recurring subjects: the human figure,
through elder men, with self-absorbed
expressions; daily scenes; still natures and
interiors. Between the last, in her recent
works, the presence of the mask transforms in
a stage set and an excuse for the artist chore:
intense colors and a vigorous brush stroke,
that leave place for a rich interior world, close
to the expressionist language

Pierre André was born in 1970 in Uccle-Belgium.
He began to take a keen interest in photography and
started shooting at the early age of 14. He enrolled
in the Cinematography and Television High School
of Rome, "Roberto Rossellini", at which time he also
carried out an apprenticeship at a photographic
studio where he later became a partner at the tender
age of 21. Moving to Milan in 1994 he began working
for Piazza Sempione, L'Uomo Vogue, Vogue Pelle etc.
In the following years his work took him between
Milan, Paris and London. In 1998 he settled back in
Rome where he started working for Valentino.
In the same year PAT PHOTOSTUDIO was founded, a specialized
laboratory for advertising, fashion and portrait photography.
The studio has also always taken care of the touch-up and post-
production phases of its shoots, thereby constantly delivering
finished high quality products to its clients. In the last 9 years
PAT has had a very successful collaboration with “My Tribu”
realizing numerous national and international fashion, media
and advertising campaigns.

Moved by the desire to extend his passion for
filmmaking and communication and aware of
the ever growing need for industry professionals
to be all encompassing; Pierre decided to review
and enlarge his original project of a straight-
up photographic studio. Taking advantage of
sturdy relationships woven over the years with
other communication professionals, Pierre
got stimulated into creating what has now
become PAT-NETWORK.
