All communication activities will be closely coordinated with the stakeholders and jointly executed. Therefore, it requires a STRATEGY and a PLAN to implement.
It is also important to discuss the development of a communication strategy thoroughly with the related parties, consultant, ERA, CA, EUD and other stakeholders allowing to pool all necessary information about their purposes, goals, ideas, human resources, plans, critiques and suggestions.

DISPLAY PANELS
SPECIFICATIONSize and number of copies should be in line with the size of
the project.Should be visible and easy to understand.Should be placed at the start of the project and should stay
until 6 months after the completion of the work. Wavy flag should be visible and should have a prominent
size at least double to the other logos.This project is funded by the EU . Logo, implementing partner: Contractor logo, start and end
date of work should be indicated.

COMMEMORATIVE PLAQUES
SPECIFICATIONS Should be ready at the opening ceremony. Should be placed at a visible position. Should be permanent, should not be removed. Wavy flag should be placed visible at the top and twice as
prominent to the other logos. May indicate the year opened. “This (name of the structure) was funded by the European Union.” Or “This school was renovated with the assistance of the European
Union.”

Permanent commemorative plaques are an effective way of acknowledging the involvement of the EU in the construction or planning of permanent structures such as houses, clinics, factories, institutions, training centres, roads, bridges, public artwork etc.

To ensure visibility at events financed by the EU, banners, flags, stage decor and signage is used.

FlagsAt events funded by the EU, flags of EU, Turkey, administrating authority or the project should be used together.
Table flags of at least three (EU, Turkey and Project or the administrating authority) should be placed at tables during activities such as meetings, conferences, panels, dinners, receptions etc.
USAGE On EU flag stars should be centered and the star in the top middle
should be facing upwards. Hanging order should be as follows: EU flag left, Turkish flag right
and other flags in the middle. Flags should be ironed and in good condition Such flags could be used out-door as long as the weather
conditions allow.

PROMOTIONAL MATERIALSIf specified in the Communication Strategy, promotional materials that are in line with programme topic, target audience and the scope of the project.
SPECIFICATIONS Wavy flag and EU support should be visible as much as the size of
the promotional materials allow. On materials with small surface, only the Wavy flag should be
preferred. If other logos used, the wavy flags should be twice as prominent. On some materials, only the wavy fag and name of the project or
programme will be satisfactory. All promotional materials should have a distribution plan.

PhotographsPhotographs showing the progress of all actions should be taken where appropriate to document the progress of actions and events related to these (their launch, visits by EU officials, and so on) so that they can be used in communication material.
SUGGESTIONS If the project implementation allows, a professional photographer
should be hired. Photographs should focus on the result and the impact of the action. Photographs used in communication materials should support the
information give. Photographs should focus on end beneficiaries rather than
implementing authorities as much as possible. As a general rule, digital photography is suggested. This allow easy
