Dear New Jersey District Board
A new school year means excitement is high as new members join and old members return! Make sure to inform them about Dues and the New Jersey Federation of Food Banks. Remember to get your clubs to pay dues on time. To receive the Early bird award send in your dues by November 1st. If they do not send them in on time for early make sure to have them sent in by the final deadline of December 1st. All clubs that send in monetary donations to the NJ Federation of Food Banks must fill out the google form. Yours in Caring and Service,
Dues

Dues are extremely important! They are what keep this district and Key Club International running. For the District, dues help pay for district wide events to function such as DCON. They pay for the printing and distributing of the New Jersey Key Club Publication The Jersey Key. In order for the District to be successful, the board members need to keep in close contact with each other through board meetings, mailings, phone calls, e-mails, faxes, and various other methods to unite New Jersey’s 13,000 Key Clubbers! All of this costs money, and since all members are benefiting, all members are required to give a little bit of money at the beginning of each year. International dues are $7.00 and the NJ District dues are $5.50. Together the total cost of dues is $12.50. You are allowed to charge up to an extra $5.00.
Go to www.keyclub.org and click the tab labeled Dues&Reports. Next, follow the quick links on the right hand side of the page and select Membership Update Center. This link will guide you to a login page where you can either log in or sign up with an adviser's account. Once you have access to your Membership Update Center, follow all the steps in order to add and modify all your club members contact information. Enter all the information of your key club members completely and accurately so that the membership cards given to your club are accurate. Once you have entered all the club member information an invoice will be generated including International dues ($7.00) and District dues ($5.50). Please send all money and your invoice to:

NJ Federation of Food Banks
How does one join the efforts of raising funds for the New Jersey Federation of Food Banks? First, you go to Here. Then once you are here you can create a new team. You fill out your club’s information, and you now have a team within the New Jersey Key Club's team for the entire district. From here donations can be made and you club’s goal can be promoted on social media or anywhere your club would like. Your total will be tracked and added into the NJ Key Club total. If you have cash or check donations you will need to print and complete the form on the following page. Please mail the completed form along with your cash or check donations to: Community FoodBank of New Jersey, 31 Evans Terminal Rd., Hillside, NJ 07205. If you have any questions regarding fundraising please contact District Treasurer Bobbie Boettinger at [email protected] or you District Project Steering Committee Chairs LTG Zierra Dean at [email protected] and LTG Julien Rosenbloom at [email protected] . 4
