Here is the plane I am going to fly today. Come with me!
The plane is getting filled up with gas before we leave.
Clean windows are important when flying. Sometimes
you just have to do the job yourself!
This is my “office”! It is called the cockpit, and it is where I fly the plane.
I am in the cockpit. The sunset outside is
reflected in my sunglasses!
I am looking out the cockpit at 30,000 feet. That’s almost six miles high!
I can say hi to the first grade class on the
Flight Management System.
These instruments tell how high (altitude), how fast (air speed), and what direction (heading)
the plane is flying.
The plane is descending (coming down).I will land it soon.
This is the final approach into the runway. I’ll try to make a smooth landing!
We are taxiing into the gate at the airport.
Ramp personnel guide us in.
We are safely on the ground! Now the plane will get ready for another flight.
The first graders made a map of the places I flew. Where would YOU like to go?
The End
