Martin as Acting President due to the absence of President Larry Benefield. 3/5/2001 ELEUTERIUS/LADNER 2) ORDER concurring in a resolution of the Harrison County Development Commission authorizing the conveyance of certain real property located in the Long Beach Industrial Park, First Judicial District of Harrison County, MS to Oreck Manufacturing Company pursuant to the terms and conditions of the contract attached as exhibit "A" to said resolution and approving the conveyance. 3/5/2001 ELEUTERIUS/LADNER 3) ORDER concurring in a resolution of the Harrison County Development Commission to enter into a special Warranty Deed conveying a parcel of real property located in the Bernard Bayou Industrial District to JMD, Inc. for the total price of $40,175.00; and finding that the President and the Clerk of the Board be and the same are authorized to execute said special Warranty Deed and to concur and join in said conveyance. 3/5/2001 LADNER/ELEUTERIUS 4) RESOLUTION authorizing the execution of a Warranty Deed to convey real property to Allen Beverages, Inc. pursuant to an option to purchase contained in that certain lease agreement dated as of December 1, 1985 by and between Harrison County, Mississippi and Allen Beverages, Inc. 3/5/2001 ELEUTERIUS/LADNER 5) Steve Delahousey, Chairman of the Harrison County 911 Commission, and Gil Bailey, E-911 Coordinator, appeared before the Board to discuss the need analysis for combining the 911 Central Communications center and EOC, funding available through Project Impact or other federal grants for the EOC. After full discussion, the Board adopted an ORDER authorizing the 911 Commission to continue the planning for a joint construction to include EOC, preparation of three cost estimates for the Board's review and final approval and appointing Richard Rose as the Board's representative to work on this project with the 911 Commission. 3/5/2001 ELEUTERIUS/LADNER 6) Bill Mitchell, PE presented to the Board the preliminary design to complete the Harrison County pedestrian pathway, Phase II for the Board's review and comments prior to final action and discussed the eventual use of a new type of board made from recycled plastic instead of wood for part of the project.
