COMMODORE – April 2012 Dear Members,April will prove to be another event filled month at Miamogue. By the time you read this, work will have already started on "A" dock. Much help will be needed to complete this project. To get your work hours see Vice Commodore Scott Gorton for details. April 14th is Rib Night, it's always a popular event. This year with the "Slip" & Grill Raffles and music by "Old Skool" it should prove to be a fun night. April 21st is the Commodore's Ball. All members and their guests are welcome. Sign up at the bar by April 14th. Chits can be used. Come down and celebrate with your new board members. Cocktails 7:00pm to 8:00pm, dinner at 8:00pm and dancing till 1:00am. April 29th will be our marine/household tag sale. Buy or sell. Remember, "one man's junk is another man's treasure"! I'm looking forward to see you on the docks. The Club Kitchen is now open Thursday thru Sunday. It is open 11:30 am Thursday and Friday for Lunch and is open for Dinner; Saturday and Sunday it is open 8am for breakfast and is open for lunch and early dinner. Spring is here...Yay!! Our Annual Fish Fry was a huge success. We doubled the amount of people from last year.....Thank you all. the 50/50 Winner was Karen Dawid. Big Huge Thanks to the Pasta Team, there are so many of you for me to list, but you all know how hard you all worked for our kids....THANK YOU!! Also, Big Thanks to Mike Shevlin and Mike Vidmosko for the great coleslaw and all the sauces you both made and for Mike Vidmosko's all night clam opening for us. What a trooper. We owe you Mike. You are all appreciated. Thank you Ladies Auxiliary for again the best home made deserts, your donations and for all of your volunteer hours. Check out our website for pictures of all of the Ladies Auxiliary kids parties and dinners. Maybe you and your kids are in there.Our Easter Party was a huge success. The Animal Caravan was awesome. You should see the kids faces. Thank you all for your donations. You are all the best crew I could have asked for. Our kids love you all too. Love you all.Tag Sale is coming up on April 29th. We have several vendors coming, see our flyer. If anyone is interested in getting a table, please contact me.
