Eunice Prevost 1927-2017
Eunice M.
Prevost, 89, Green Bay, passed away Sunday evening, Feb. 12, 2017, at a local hospital. Born Sept. 29, 1927, in Green Bay, she is the daughter of the late Joseph and Eunice (Mahn) Craanen. Eunice was a retired bus driver for Lamers Bus Lines and also held multiple other ca-reers throughout her lifetime. She was an active member of the Wiscon-sin Harness Horse Association for the past 50 plus years. Eunice's love for family and friends was easily recog-nized by anyone who knew her. She was truly passionate about creating lasting memories with those whom she loved.
Eunice is survived by five children, Betty Prevost, Cindy Noack, Mary (Chris Blake) Greenfield, Judith Klarner, and Mark Prevost; nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren; one sister, Patricia Safford; and many nieces and neph-ews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Lee Craanen; one sister, Mary Lou Pashek; the fa-ther of her children, James Prevost; and very recently, her granddaugh-ter, Becky Cook.

During the early hours on March 16, 2017, Dan and Jeri Roland were awakened by the sirens of the fire de-partment responding to the fire that totally destroyed their barn, killing 9 of the 10 horses that were inside. Making this loss even worse, a mare with a 2 day old colt perished in the horrendous fire, plus two pregnant mares that were due to foal that week.
We in the harness racing community are heartbro-ken. While we know that we can not replace the horses that were lost, we hope to be able to help with the ex-penses, known and unknown, that the Roland's are go-ing to encounter.
“Dan and Jeri Roland Barn Fire”, a GoFundMe ac-count has been established. All donations will be going straight to Dan’s family.
