Issue, Description &

Background

On behalf of the Marion County Clerk's Office, the Finance Department issued Request for Proposals

(RFP) #C25102-CLSORT-16 on June 22, 2016. The proposal received from Tritek Technologies, Inc.

contained minor informalities as described in the attached Discretionary Action Form. The Clerk's Office

is seeking to waive the minor informalities and include the proposal in the evaluation phase of the

procurement.

Financial Impacts:There is no financial impact of this action.

Impacts to Department

& External Agencies No impact to other departments or agencies.

Options for

Consideration:

1. Approve the Discretionary Action to grant the waiver of a minor informality.

2. Deny the request to grant the waiver of a minor informality and find the proposal non-responsive.

3. Take no action at this time.

Recommendation: Finance staff recommends approval of the Discretionary Action to grant the waiver of a minor

informality.
