Radio reaches 244 million listeners every week! That’s 92% of the American population aged 12+. Yet according to the Radio Advertising Bureau, that staggering figure is only the tip of the iceberg in the real story about Radio’s relationship with consumers. Because Radio connects with its listeners, it delivers an audience that is genuinely engaged.

Radio’s ability to draw in consumers with lifestyle-specific programming and personalities has not been matched by any existing or emerging media. The real-world effectiveness of Radio advertising is the medium’s power to reach and influence specific target consumers by playing an integral role in their lifestyle. Through Radio, an advertiser will increase sales, establish brand identity, and drive traffic to the point of purchase.

,

BULLYING - STAND UP SPEAK OUTStand Up Speak Out will continue the LARGEST Anti-Bullying awareness campaign in Charlotte Metro history. Reaching out to the over 500,000 children and their families in the greater Charlotte area to practice ZERO tolerance for bullying at school, sports, and in the neighborhood.

Beasley Media Group will have access to the strongest radio cluster in the market as we actively reach out to students and parents to participate in standing up and speaking out against bullying. Children and their parents will be instructed to visit any Beasley Media Group website in the Greater Charlotte Metro to print out the registration/pledge form and list of anti-bullying activities to have signed, dated, and returned to their teacher or to the main office. The school with the most participants wins a Pep Rally from the Radio Stations.

TEXTING AND DRIVING - DON’T TEXT AND DRIVE CAMPAIGNOur ultimate goal is to rid the streets and highways of people texting, surfing the internet or emailing on their mobile devices while also operating a motor vehicle. Radio is a pivotal key to this campaigns success because we have the power to relay the message to the driver before they commit the act of texting while driving. We started the conversation on-air, on-line and on-site with our listeners, friends and family. Join us in this conversation in 2015 to reinforce the dangers of impaired driving while we promote awareness and safety of operating any type of motor vehicle.

DRINKING AND DRIVING - DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE CAMPAIGNIn 2012, 10,322 people were killed and approximately 345,000 were injured due to Drinking and Driving. Each crash, each death, each injury impacts not only the person in the crash, but family, friends, classmates and co-workers as well. Together we can eliminate drunk driving. Join Beasley Media Group in this program to help raise awareness and put a stop to drinking and driving here in the local community.

DOMESTIC ABUSE - BE THEIR HOPEOur goal is to create awareness for Domestic Abuse in the Charlotte Metro area. Beasley Media Group has partnered with the Charlotte Mecklenburg District Attorney’s office and Safe Alliance to increase awareness to the issue of Domestic Violence in our community. Each month, District Attorney Andrew Murray’s Domestic Violence Team handles about 1,000 cases in court. Prosecutors are working hard every day to seek justice for victims and stop the cycle of domestic violence. Be their hope.

Our mission is to provide hope and healing to people in crisis. We believe individuals and their families deserve to live in safe and supportive environments. To this end they work in alliance with their clients, other organizations and the community toward achieving their vision of communities where people are empowered to build and sustain healthy and respectful relationships and enjoy lives free of domestic and sexual violence and child abuse.

BEASLEY IS EVERYWHERE!BEASLEY MEDIA GROUP takes great civic pride in the community. We serve and are honored to air programs reflecting Charlotte’s rich diversity, heritage and spirit. Moreover, our radio stations are live and local in our host communities, and we strive to give something back through fundraising, awareness campaigns and other charitable contributions that support the common good.
