Cape Fear Regional Theatre (CFRT) is excited to announce our 18th Annual Blues-N-Brews Festival!
Blues-N-Brews started in 2003 and continues to serve as CFRT’s principal fundraising event of the year. Over the years, it
has grown to be the must-attend event of the summer attracting more than 3,000 blues and beer lovers from across the
region, including more than 1,400 from Fort Bragg. Join the fun as one of our featured vendors!
Event Information
When: Saturday, June 6, 2020
Where: Festival Park in downtown Fayetteville, NC (335 Ray Avenue)
Time: Gates open at 4 PM for VIP and at 5 PM for GA. Event ends at 10 PM.
Tickets: Tickets on sale now at www.cfrt.org/BNB or 910-323-4233.
• $75 VIP Admission (Pre-Sale Only) – Admission includes all listed in
General Admission, plus early 4 PM admission, opportunity to judge
the Beer Tasting Contest, a catered meal, complimentary snacks,
private game area, private lawn with covered seating, complimentary
BnB merchandise, and a complimentary concessions item.
• $30 General Admission ($45 at Gate) – Admission includes a souvenir
beer sampling glass, unlimited beer sampling, musical entertainment,
and games. Food and merchandise will be available for purchase.
*A $5 Military Discount will be available at the gate for $40 GA tickets
only.
• $15 Non-Drinking Admission

Benefits

Upon request, CFRT may be able to provide lodging for brewers located 90+ miles outside of Fayetteville, NC.
Requirements
• Be an established local business.
• Collect and pay local & state tax if selling merchandise.
• Provide BnB with website, logo, and information needed to publish on webpage and social media.
Product Recommendation
• Our tasting glasses are marked for a 3oz pour. We expect 3,000+ at this year’s event. We suggest brewers bring one half-barrel (15.5 gallons) and two 5 gallon barrels as back-up. This is only a suggestion. Please bring what you feel is most appropriate based on your festival experiences.
DONATIONS/PAYMENT REQUESTS
• Blues-N-Brews is Cape Fear Regional Theatre’s premiere fundraising event of the year. We have a very limited budget and will prioritize brewers that will donate their product(s). CFRT is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization so donated product may be tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.
• Fair and reasonable payment requests will be considered. Please send a quote to [email protected] prior to completing your application and we will consider requests on a first-come, first-serve basis as our budget allows.
Best in Show Contest
Submit your favorite beer to this year’s BEST IN SHOW contest! The winning brewer will be awarded the title of 2020 BLUES-N-BREWS BEST IN SHOW and will receive a medal and banner to showcase at your place of business. To participate:
1) Submit one (1) beer 2) Select one (1) representative to talk about your
beer and mingle with VIP guests in the VIP Tent from 4-5 PM
3) Deliver 24 bottles (or similar quantity) of your beer submission to the VIP Tent no later than 3:45 PM. Judging will take place by our 300 VIP guests between 4 and 5 PM.
NOTE: Only brewers entering a beer into the BEST IN SHOW contest will be allowed to admit a representative into the VIP tent without the purchase of a VIP ticket.
VIP Brewer Education session
Blues-N-Brews is considering offering brief 10-15-minute brewer education opportunities for VIP guests between 5 and 9 PM. This would provide brewers the opportunity to engage more deeply with an intimate group of beer-lovers interested in learning more about brewers, their beers, and the brewing process. If interested, please indicate this in the appropriate area on your application.
Check-In and Set-Up
• Check-in begins at 12 PM and concludes at 3 PM.
• Initial ice-down will begin at 2:30 PM.
• Booths must be fully operational from 4-10 PM.
• All equipment must be removed from the festival site no later than 11 PM.
• You must bring your own loading equipment and personnel to assist. BnB does not have extra equipment or staff to assist.
