accidental deaths in the United States

• There were over 64,000 drug overdose deaths in 2016 (CDC)

• 34.4 million teens deal with drug-use at home daily– 6.1 million are high school students

• Of those indicating that they have heard these messages, there was a 3.5% decrease in current drug use when compared to the national average
