Since 1979, Elizabethtown has won all 33 meetings with Juniata in the all-time series. Cameron Sheva, JD Haaf, and Gilbert Waso each scored a goal last season for the Blue Jays in a 3-0 win at Huntingdon, Pa.

Garrett Winchilla brought Elizabethtown level in the 81’ against Alvernia on Kicks for Cancer Night on Wednesday, 9/19. The Jays trailed going into the final ten minutes, but Winchilla’s second goal of a season, a strike from well outside the box, tied the game and forced OT. E-town and Alvernia wound up in a 1-1 draw.

Brian Gately recorded his third shutout of the season as Elizabethtown opened up Landmark Conference play last Saturday with a scoreless draw at Susquehanna.

E-town was scheduled to play #1 Messiah on the road on Wednesday, but rainy weather forced a cancellation.

Juniata’s first three games of the season were all one-goal wins, including a thrilling three-goal come-back win at home over St. Vincent on 9/4. Michael Realbuto and Wyatt Page scored less than four minutes apart as JC was down 2-0 to the Bearcats. Nick Sinapius produced the game-winning goal, also the first of his career, in the 75th minute to lift the Eagles to 3-0. Since, Juniata has gone 0-4-1 and start Landmark play 0-1 after a 2-1 loss against Moravian.

Elizabethtown will have a week off as they prepare for Drew on Saturday, October 6, at 1 p.m.
