Basketball Homecoming is always a busy and exciting week for RPHS. Through-out the week students are given the opportunity to participate in the dress up days chosen by members of the Student Council. This year the theme was, “The Jays Strike Back,” which was chosen because of the recent Star Wars movie that

came out. During the week of homecoming, the danc-ers sponsored a Little Jays Dance Camp where they taught elementary girls a dance routine to perform at homecoming. On Friday, the cheerleaders held a pep assembly for students at RPE and RPHS. The cheerlead-ers also prepared a fun Star Wars-themed game for the

homecoming attendants. Finally, students had the opportunity to attend the annual winter formal dance put on by Student Council. The DJ for the dance this year, Reed Martin, helped keep the dance lively with good music and awesome effects.(Written by Chloe Sierks, layout by Dayle Davis)
