On their next trip, the Blue Bucks gang is heading to Alaska. Back at Blue Bucks HQ, Milo calls his cousin, Marco Moose, who lives in Fairbanks, Alaska, to let him know his friends will arrive within a few hours!

Of course I told him that Alaska is part of

the USA, so they use the Alaskan U.S. Dollar. Funny, huh?

Great! I can’t wait to meet your friends, milo! What will they want to do?

Well, Fancy wants to do ice sculpting, Penny wants to see the northern lights, Chloe wants to see the dog sledding race, and

I’m not sure about Earnie.

Now, Marco, they don’t know much about Alaska, so they might ask you a

few silly questions.

Like, Yesterday Earnie asked me what currency Alaska uses.

Oh, I’m used to that.

Wait…WHAT?!

but there IS no Alaskan...

Ha ha! Yeah,I’ve heard that question before.

Anyway, I was happy to set him straight.

I noticed the airport is not made of tightly packed snow. I was wondering, does everyone here…

Live in igloos? Of course!

Interesting!

Yep! In fact, the richest person in Fairbanks

lives in a three-story, 120-room igloo!

However, most people here only have a typical one-room igloo and a polar bear for a pet.

So, where can I exchange my U.S.

Dollars for Alaskan U.S. Dollars?

NOPE! Actually we live in normal homes here. No pet bears either. Milo had warned me

about your questions.

WOW! Really?!

Marco! So nice of you to meet us here.

Well, a friend of my cousin, Milo, is a friend of mine!

Welcome to Alaska, friends!

that’s great. Say, marco...

Ah!

Marco meets the gang at the airport and the “silly questions” about Alaska begin immediately.

What’s with all the Daylight, marco? heard it would be dark most of the time.

No, in this part of Alaska, we average around 8 hours of sunlight this time of year.

In the middle of the winter, it stays pretty dark.

Oh, yeah! Milo told me about the one time he visited you

during Christmas.

Well, that was a bit of an exaggeration.

Yeah, I know. Like the sun could ever say “bye”!

ah, look!Sunrise!

Bye, milo!

well, how do you like them

apples?

So during the Blue Bucks gang’s stay in Alaska, Marco took them ice sculpting...

…took them to see the Northern Lights…

…and then took them to Anchorage, Alaska to see the big dog sledding race!

Wow! Fancy, that is an incredible ice sculpture of Earnie. It’s so lifelike!

That is Earnie! I sculpted a tree.

c..c...cold!...

so beautiful!stunning!

I thought we were supposed to meet Aurora,

Bori, and Alice here. Are they not coming?

chasing a dream! see you in 9 days!YAAAAAAA!!!!

chloe!! what are you doing?!

Soon, it was time to say goodbye.

Well, I really had a great time meeting you all.

Sorry. I just needed to finally hug a moose again.

I’m sure Milo misses you, too.

Hey, Marco!

HUGWoosH!
