WHAT’S IN YOUR TOMATO?Why eating locally and sustainably-grown food matters

What does it mean to eat healthy? We may know the importance of eating our fruits and veggies, but knowing what’s in them and how they’re grown are also important factors to consider as we seek out healthier lifestyles. Kelly Zureick, Registered Dietician, and Casey Henry with Our Harvest Cooperative will discuss how we can live and eat

healthier by knowing both our food and our farmer. Come enjoy lively conversation and sample locally-grown veggies.

PERSONAL TRAININGOne of our nationally certified personal trainers will design a specialized program and work one on one with you to help you attain your personal goals. First, you will need to schedule an initial consultation. The consultation consists of a meeting in which we will establish your fitness goals, and take you through a series of assessments (wear workout clothes). Before your first “hands on” training session your personal trainer will use the information acquired during the initial consultation to design a program for you.

The number of training sessions you purchase is dependent on your needs. Individual trainer information and fees can be found below. Please directly contact the trainer best suited for your needs to set up an appointment. For general information contact the Programming Supervisor, Dan Guthrie at (513) 745-6261.

GROUP TRAININGInterested in something a little more affordable than personal training and more personalized than a group fitness class? Our trainers have specific hourly rates for training individually as well as with groups, but if you have 3 or more people and are interested in committing to a longer time frame (typically between 4 and 8 weeks) then we offer more affordable individual rates for group sessions. Rates may vary slightly depending upon the type of session that is being offered (Yoga, TRX, Cycling, Kettlebell, General Boot Camp, etc).

For information about any currently running sessions please check out our Fitness News Board inside the fitness center or check out our Blue Ash Recreation Center Facebook page.
