Our stringent quality assurance program is
registered with the Bureau de Normalization of
Quebec (BNQ) to the ISO 9001-94 standard. This
international standard is accepted by clients
worldwide. We also meet the welding requirements
of CWB W47.1 Div. 3 (Canadian Welding Bureau)
and AWS (American Welding Society). Designs
requiring special standards such as API are
available. TLT CO-VENT recognizes the importance
of total quality as a tool to increased productivity
and a finished product of superior quality.
Performance tests are always conducted
according to AMCA or ASME standards.
Non-destructive tests (dye penetrant, magnetic
particle, ultra sound, X-ray) are conducted in
our plant, depending on the design
requirements.
Shop mechanical run tests are available using
our shop variable speed drive.
Our production equipment is at the leading edge of
modern technology. The use of CAD/CAM enables
the rational and productive use of material and
labor. Computer assisted underwater plasma arc
cutting technology permits cutting special materials
(aluminum, stainless steel, Hastelloy, etc…) silently
and with exceptional quality. Large and small
capacity balancing machines with capacity of up to
50 tons, provide both static and dynamic balancing
of the rotor with great precision.

Single and Double Stage BlowersTLT CO-VENT offers a full line of single stage and
double stage blowers with capacities from 0.12 m /s
(250 CFM) and 990 Pa (4 in WG), up to 23.6 m /s
(50,000 CFM) and 103 kPa (15 PSIG or 415 in WG).
The double stage blower design was developed
using our high efficiency impeller used in single
stage blowers. Double stage blowers are available
with fabricated or cast iron casings. Superior
performance, high efficiency and reliability are the
principal assets of our blowers. TLT CO-VENT's
blowers are highly resistant to severe conditions
such as high temperature, corrosion and abrasion.

Abrasion ResistanceVarious techniques of abrasion control are offered
for severely abrasive environments. Backward
inclined blades produce abrasion patterns, which
are concentrated near the center plate (back plate).
Thus, the use of partial wear liners on the blade
protects this zone and the blade center plate weld.
A severely abrasive environment requires the
protection of surfaces with resistant materials such
as ceramic, chromium carbide or tungsten carbide.
Sophisticated custom anti-abrasive dust
deflectors can be added to guide the abrasive
particles between the blades, significantly
increasing the life of the rotor.
In these industries, the most important design factor
is the protection against abrasion and wear.
Through extensive research and development, TLT
CO-VENT has developed solutions to answer our
clients' most demanding operating conditions.
