OCCUPY YOURIMAGINATIONAs Absolut Fringe is drawing its curtains after two weeks of theatre, dance and music extravaganzas, we have sent the our BLOW team of photographers on their last Fringe mission this year.
We are very proud to have had the opportunity of documenting such a joyous celebration of creativity and to produce a kaleidoscope of images.
Huge thanks to the Absolut Fringe team – especially to Róise, Jessica, Conleth, Kamil, Joey, Niamh and Aisling - for support and encouragement!
Extra special thanks goes to the whole team of BLOW for all the hard work, passion and not losing it when the pressure got high!
All our photographs compiled by our great and creative team are available on blowphotomagazine.com/blowabsolutfringe – so if you feel like it’s a long wait till next year, take a peek now and then, and… occupy your imagination!

We know that there is something in the air. But what is this ‘something’? Perhaps these things are hard to explain rationallybecause they relate to our feelings, instincts, emotions and senses. Where exactly does this “chemistry” come from? What can it lead us to? Can we influence it?

Brothers Famous Seamus and Sean-tastic: bonded by their
lust for fame and the illusion of their own celebrity, broken by their twisted relationship and their fear of failure.
Sometimes all that’s left to do is dance! They are cocky, they are clueless, and they are delightfully good at it!

The facts: my Grandfather, my Uncle and Ishare the same name. We coexist under the one roof on Inishere, Aran Islands. And the fiction: this show looks back through three generations, reflecting on migrations and the loss of language.

What do we want? GLOBAL JUSTICE! When do we want it? IN 140 CHARACTERS! We all grew up hearing about
“800 years of British oppression”. But that ended in the 1920s. Then the Catholic Church took over. Now we’re finally standing up to the Church —
and the Troika takes control of Ireland.
