How does Addressable and Conventional type Fire Detection System differ?

Every device connected to the addressable system has its own unique address. When a fire is detected, the

device’s address shows up on the main control panel, telling us exactly which device has been activated.

This will enable us to find the exact location of a fire and extinguish it quickly.

With a conventional system, there is no way of pinpointing the exact location of the fire. However, by

wiring our building into different zones, we can get a general idea of where the fire is.

Conventional alarm panels cost a lot less to buy but are more expensive to install. This is because each

device that is being connected needs its own wire. With addressable systems, one wire loop will connect

several devices. This means conventional systems require more wire and more man hours during the

installation phase.

In HO, we have successfully installed addressable type fire detection system for both front & rear buildings,

replacing the old conventional type detection system. The new system is more reliable than the old system

that was in use.

A training program on the newly installed system was conducted by the manufacturer for BL Operators and

Security personnel at the Corporate Office.

Humayun's tomb, "the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun in Delhi", was commissioned by Humayun's

first wife Bega Begum (Haji Begum) in 1569-70, and designed by Mirak Mirza Ghiyas, a Persian architect

chosen by Bega Begum. It was the first garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent and is located in

Nizamuddin East, Delhi, close to the Dina-panah citadel also known as Purana Qila (Old Fort), that

Humayun founded in 1533. It was also the first structure to use red sandstone at such a scale. The tomb

was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993.
