People will see you as the authority and expert in your niche and keep coming back for more. Your goal should be to engage your readers and give them what they want. Become helpful and provide solutions.

You will soon build a good reputation online and people will keep sharing your content and talking about you all over the web. The more people you help, the more traffic you will get which will eventually turn into leads and customers.

The frequency with which you post to your blog will affect the way your readers react to your content. Do it too often and you will likely bore them to bits, do it rarely and you will lose readers because they lose interest.

Knowing how much is enough is the key to writing and managing a successful blog. Top bloggers write content every single day and sometimes multiple times a day. The key is to have a blogging schedule.

If you're just starting out or you haven't been generating over 500 visitors a day, then you need to post daily to build the momentum and put your blog on the map.

You need to get your posts out there after you hit the publish button. You really need to take blog post promotion seriously.

The thing is, if you have no activity on your blog, then you will have very little traffic or none for that matter.

You can create the buzz with a very well written content and proper blog structure. You should make the experience for your readers memorable. The more Google will give you the authority over the other blogs with less or no activity at all.

When it comes to promoting your content, you need to take advantage of social media, content syndication and SEO practices that are proven to work.

When the other sites share your blog posts, it's a great way to create backlinks. It's like they cast a vote for your piece of content.

So, the more backlinks and votes you have out there, the more Google is going to see your blog as popular and of high authority. You'll then get priority over other blogs and that means more traffic to you!

3. Networking

One of the key factors to creating a buzz on your blog and getting your name and blog out there is networking – it's very powerful.

So, I got fed up of having a lonely blog. I took matters into my own hands and then started networking with other bloggers through commenting on the other blogs, responding to comments on my blog, guest posting and so on.

I soon got noticed as my face was seen everywhere across the web. I have built great relationships and made good friendships along the way.

As a blogger you want to join the blogging community to increase the activity on your blog. That means you need to get out there and network with others so that you can drive traffic back to your blog. If you have no activity on your blog, then you'll have very little traffic.
