Ziptrak is a streamlined and versatile track guided blind system which provides essential protection from the elements through an ‘easy to use’ operation. Ziptrak has been refined and engineered for more than 15 years, resulting in a robust market leading product.

Simple and effectiveThe Ziptrak track guided blind system has specially designed tracks in which the blind glides smoothly and easily, stopping at any desired position. The blind can be secured and locked in the closed position with the new central locking mechanism. A sudden change in weather is no problem. Within seconds a Ziptrak blind can be opened or closed, providing protection from the elements.

SafeZiptrak is completely safe. It eliminates ropes & pulleys, zippers, buckles and trip hazards.

VersatileZiptrak can be installed into any outdoor application through either a ‘spring assisted manual system’ or full ‘motorisation’. Depending on your climate and requirements, either Horizon mesh or Achilles clear PVC can be used for screening. Understanding visual clarityLight passing through clear PVC is reflected at each surface. Minor imperfections cause the view to be distorted. The smoother the surface, the less visual distortion. There are 2 qualities of clear PVC used in blinds, each named after their manufacturing process: ‘Calendared’ and ‘Extruded’. Calendared (Rollclear) is the most commonly used in outdoor blinds and offers excellent value for money. An Extruded (Rollglass) product offers versatility and excellent clarity. The major difference with all qualities is primarily clarity. Longevity is generally dictated by the maintenance program while the blinds are in service.

Protection on many levelsThe purpose of installing outdoor blinds is to provide protection. The most obvious is protection from the elements such as wind and rain however, Achilles clear PVC also provides protection from solar transmission. Up to 93% of Ultra Violet Radiation (UVR) and 10% of Infra-red (heat) is absorbed providing personal protection and thermal control.
