THANKYOU BRAY CHURCHES TOGETHER St Peter’s Parish hosted the annual Prayer Service for Church Unity Octave on Monday, 25 January, 2016. A capacity congregation representing all the Churches in Bray attended. St Peter’s Folk Group provided the music, and were praised highly for their singing. The homily was given by Venerable Archdeacon Edgar Swann, Retired Rector of Greystones. This year’s theme was from the First Letter of St Peter 2:9-10. You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own peo- ple.’ As a parish let us continue to pray for Christian Unity. Bray Churches Together wish to thank all the people in St Peter’s parish whose work and commitment made the occasion so memorable and worthwhile. ARCHBISHOP ROMERO: are you happy to be at Mass today? ‘When we come together for Sunday Mass, our meeting should be known for its joy, the result of being in contact with that God who loves us.
