WE WELCOME ALL NEWCOMERS AND VISITORS TO
BLESSED SACRAMENT CHURCH. If you would like to
register at Blessed Sacrament, registration forms are
available at the back of the church, the parish office, or
register online at blsac.org.
BAPTISM: Parents who wish to have their child/children
baptized should contact the Parish Office for arrangements.
A preparatory session is mandatory for the proper formation
of parents and godparents.
MARRIAGE: Those wishing to enter a sacramental
marriage should contact the Parish Office at least six
months prior to the intended date.
VISITING THE SICK: Please inform the Parish Office
should a relative/friend who is homebound/hospitalized need
a pastoral visit or the Sacrament of Anointing. A priest will
attend to the Sacrament and, as needed, will arrange for
Holy Communion to be brought to your loved one.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION & CONFIRMATION:
Preparations for the reception of these Sacraments are
taken care of by the Office of Faith Formation. Please call
the Parish Office and your message will be forwarded.
THE HOMEBOUND AND HOS-
PITALIZED: Each month, the
Weekly Bulletin will publish the
names of persons who are in need
of special prayer. If you know of
someone who should be listed, kindly call the Par-
ish Office and inform us. The first weekend of eve-
ry month will list new requests. This is because
there are times when the persons listed are well
again and the callers forget to ask that their

athletic teams, and all are uniquely made with love. There is even a mountain getaway
donated by Harrison and Leslie Kirk, because who doesn't need fresh mountain air after these
long weeks of quarantine? The retreat package also includes gift cards to be used during your
getaway. Awesome summer sport camps are also available. (Please note that donors will
honor the certificates for 2020 or 2021 summers). What if you don't see anything that tickles
your fancy? . . . We are also accepting one-time cash donations in increments of $20, $50 or
$100. Proceeds go to the BSCS Athletic Association to help offset fees and uniforms AND a

Con�núa la alegría y el ambiente pascual; el aroma de las flores, la pila bau�smal y el Cirio Pascual que
nos alumbra en cada celebración de la Eucaris#a. Su presencia disipa toda duda y oscuridad. La
an#fona de entrada que ilumina la alabanza de los fieles: “Aclama a Dios, �erra entera. Canten todo un
himno a su nombre. Denle gracias y alábenlo. Aleluya.” La narración del Evangelio de San Lucas que
invita a dejar la ceguera para vivir en la luz de Cristo; abandonando la incredulidad, profesando una fe
firme en el Resucitado. Júbilo total en este Tercer Domingo de Pascua.�

En el relato del camino de Emaús, Jesús se aparece a sus desanimados discípulos haciéndose el
desconocido. En el camino, les explica las Escrituras y luego a su invitación de quedarse con ellos
porque ya cae la tarde, se sienta a la mesa, toma el pan y lo bendice, lo parte y al dárselo a ellos
desaparece. Entonces el sen�miento aflora en ellos y se dicen: “¡Con razón nuestro corazón ardía,
mientras nos hablaba por el camino y nos explicaba las Escrituras!” (Lucas 24:32). ¿Reconocemos a
Jesús cuando camina con nosotros? ¿Sabemos cuándo parte el pan y nos lo da? Por úl�mo, ¿Cuándo
arde nuestro corazón al escuchar las Escrituras? Son simples preguntas que llevan a una conversión
penetrante si se profundiza en ellas. En esta línea se mueven las lecturas de hoy; confirmar la fe y la
esperanza. Acercarse al nuevo comienzo de la Pascua es lo esencial. Jesús catequiza y evangeliza, a la
misma vez, a sus desalentados discípulos. Quita su ceguera haciéndoles ver como las Escrituras habían
anunciado ese escándalo de la Cruz. ¡Aleluya!�
