School Name: Bleckley County Middle School (BCMS)
Strategic Direction: Achievement
Strategic Goal: Bleckley County Middle School will increase student achievement in math.
School Objective 1: Through professional learning, and the use of research-based strategies in Math classrooms, BCMS will
increase the percentage of students scoring at Levels 3 and 4 on the Math portion of the spring 2021 Georgia Milestones
assessment from 60% to at least 68%. DRC Beacon math data and/or MAP math data will be used if the 2021 Georgia
Milestone is not mandated.
Objective 2: Through professional learning, and the use of research-based strategies used in Math classrooms, BCMS will
increase the percentage of African American students scoring at Levels 3 and 4 on the Math portion of the spring 2021
Georgia Milestones assessment from 32% to at least 44%. DRC Beacon math data and/or MAP math data will be used if the
2021 Georgia Milestone is not mandated.
