2. 2. Why Did I Pick This Gifted Person? I want to study Nadia Comaneci because she is interesting. I picked her because she does gymnastics like me.
3. 3. She was born in Romania. She was discovered at age six by a gymnastics coach, Bela Karolyi. Nadia was fourteen years old when she participated in her first Olympics. Early Life
4. 4. Attributes She has peach skin, brown hair, a ponytail, and does gymnastics. She was the first person to get a perfect score at the Olympics. She competed in the 1976 and won three gold medals. She also won two gold medals in 1980.
5. 5. Challenges The Romanian government controlled who Nadia's coach was after her parents got divorced. Her favorite coach went to the United States but the government didn't let her leave. Five years, later she walked six hours to another country and was able to take a plane to America.
6. 6. Gifts And Talents She was a talented gymnast. She was focused on her sport and was not distracted by war in her home country. She never gave up!
