US media is reporting multiple injuries from the "largeexplosions" at the finish line.

Boston police confirmed at least one explosion near673 Boylston Street near the finish line of the race.

Marathon organisers said there had been twoexplosions.

"There was an explosion, police, fire and EMS are onthe scene. We have no indication of how many peopleare injured," a spokeswoman for the Boston PoliceDepartment said.

The explosions occurred as thousands of runnersfinished the 117th running of the Boston Marathon,with crowds watching and cheering at the finish.

Taylor said she noticed more of a military presencewhen the race with 27,000 runners started.

"It was just a real deep, cannon kind of sound. Fromwhere I was standing, there was just this big puff ofsmoke."

Updated at 6:21 p.m. Brandon Mader, 28, and ZachKoch, 27, had finished the race about an hour beforethe blasts occurred and had just walked into theirhotel when they heard what had happened at thefinish line.

The former University of Alabama in Huntsville runnerswere taking part in their first and second BostonMarathons, respectively, Mader told HuntsvilleTimes/al.com reporter Pat Ammons in a phoneinterview.

Mader said his first reaction on hearing about the was

"severe disappointment" that anyone would dosomething to mar such a special event.

The marathon "is the identity of Boston on the worldstage," Mader said.

Updated at 3 p.m. Suzanne Taylor of Huntsville hadjust completed her third Boston Marathon whenexplosions shook the area at the finish line, injuringdozens.

"I had probably crossed the finish line less than fiveminutes before it happened," Taylor said about 30minutes after the explosion.

"It just became pure chaos and we had to get out. Ihad to hurry back to my hotel."

"Very scary, very scary," she said.

Her husband, Dink, finished the race about an hourbefore the explosions, Suzanne said.

Taylor said she had just completed the race andreceived her medal, a bottle of water and a blanketthat all runners get at the end of the race when theexplosions happened.

"There were two explosions, one big one and onesmall one - right after the other," she said.

"At first, we thought it was a compressor. Then

everybody started saying it was a bomb.

Everybody just started trying to run. It's hard to runafter you run a marathon but there were peoplerushing to get out of the area.

"When one bomb went off, you didn't know ifsomething else was going to go off."

Dedicated to Newtown Victims

Adding further heartbreak to utter tragedy, the lastmile of Monday's Boston Marathon, which was rocked

by at least two explosions resulting in an unknownnumber of injuries and casualties Monday afternoon,was dedicated to the victims of the Sandy HookElementary shooting massacre.

Boston Athletic Association president Joanne Flaminiosaid before the race that had a "special significance"because it was 26.2 miles long and there was 26 victimsin the Newtown attack.

There was also a group of Newtown parents running aspart of a group called Team Newtown Strong whowere raising money for local charities.

Why Was the New York Post the Outlier in

Boston Marathon Coverage?

The New York Postis either the most well-sourcednewspaper in the country, the luckiest paper in thecountry, or an awful rag stirring up hate for Muslims.

It depends on who you ask on a wild Monday inBoston, really.

And whether or not they can prove a controversialreport is correct.

The Postreported around 4:28 p.m. that a 20-year-old"Saudi national" is "under guard" by police at anundisclosed Boston hospital, according to "lawenforcement sources."

They did identify him as a suspect.

They also reported 12 people were killed in theattacks, even though only two victims have beenreported by Boston police so far.

Initially, it seemed there wasn't a hope in hell thePost's report was accurate.

A Boston police department spokesperson told Talking

Points Memo's Hunter Walker that they didn't know"where [the Postwas] getting their information from,but it didn't come from us."

And the news about the Saudi Arabian suspect seemedto infuriate many observers on Twitter.

The New York Post is learning that the hard waytoday," someone opined.

The L.A. Times adds that a Saudi national was taken to a

hospital and questioned about the attack, accordingto federal law enforcement sources.

The zone was later reduced in a subsequent notice toa 2.3-mile radius.

The zone is limited to flights under 3,000 feet inaltitude, which is lower than most airliners would flyexcept when taking off or landing.

The no-fly zone was effective immediately, and will

remain in effect until further notice, the agency said.Pilots planning flights are urged to call their localflight service station.

Some people believe this explosion might have beenpart of the demolition of another bomb.

As the Boston Globe tweeted today, Officials: Therewill be a controlled explosion opposite the librarywithin one minute as part of bomb squad activities.

Some people believe this explosion might have beenpart of the demolition of another bomb. It seemsunlikely, however, that a bomb at the library, one mileaway, could be so quickly located and rigged to beexploded by the bomb squad in less than one

hour following the initial explosions at the marathon.Bloomberg news is now saying, This is very likely aterrorist attack.

The question is: Who are the terrorists?

Its far too early to take an informed guess on all this.

However, it is indisputable that the FBI is activelyengaged in carrying out bomb plots in the UnitedStates, then halting them at the last minute to catchthe terrorists.

For the record, the explosions seemed relativelysmall for a false flag, and most false flags targetchildren in order to maximize the emotional leverageafter the event.

That these explosions did not target children is yetmore evidence that it may not have been a false flagat all.

Agents grabbed the 21-year-old Nafis armed with acellphone he believed was rigged as a detonator after he made several attempts to blow up the bombinside a vehicle parked next to the Federal Reserve,reported the NY Post.

Sticking to a now utterly predictable narrative, theman never actually posed a threat to any building orperson due to the fact that the FBI themselves hadgiven him the bomb.

Thats right, the corporate media and the governmentare now having a hay day, once again promoting the

Authorities emphasized that the plot never posed anactual risk.

This has to be confusing to most Americansconsidering that for the last 6 months this same groupof corrupt corporate media networks has promoted

the US governments direct support of al Qaedainsurgents in Libya and Syria.

Basically, the American people are expected to be sostupid that on one hand they are supposed to bescared of the attempted bombing of a FederalReserve building by al Qaeda while at the same timesupporting them in at least two other nations.

We most likely will never know whether or not Nafiswas what we would call a real terrorist but, regardlessof this, the fact remains that the government has along history of supporting al Qaeda on one hand andstaging terror plots to be blamed on them on theother.

It is also important to mention that when the NYPD

police chief goes on national TV, completely ignoringthe fact that the FBI has ran almost every terror plotsince 9/11, and claims that the threat to New York willbe there for years to come, he is doing this becausehis JOB and his police forces Orwellian and ridiculouspolice actions are on the line.

If the American people as a whole knew that most if

not all the police state security measures that havebeen taken to supposedly thwart terror attacks wereactually being set up to control everyday Americans,the backlash would be severe and instant.
