Stelios Papcostas, recruited by Rhone-Poulenc (U.K.) for the purpose, will be responsible for the commercialisation of these products which comprise a range of antioxidants, blowing agents and stabilizers for the plastic and surface coating industries, as well as anti-UV additives and surfactants for the cosmetic industry. COLOUR MATCHING SERVICE A brochure available from Charles B. Edwards & Co. describes the company's colour-matching services, custom colour development, and colour additive packages. ECLIPSE EXPANDS MASTERBATCH PRODUCTION Eclipse Colours in the U.K. is using an MP 2050 twin screw com- pounding machine from APV Chemical Machinery to augment current production capacity of its multi-purpose masterbatch. This is the first phase of its 20.5 million expansion plan designed to give the company greater flexibility in its role as a specialist colour matched masterbatch supplier to the plastics industry. Services on offer include colour matching to customers' specifi- cation; a range of 60 'off the shelf'coloursfor small users, and standard colours available at short notice in pelletised form, suitable for use in most polymers. BLYTHE FORMS PIGMENT DIVISION Blythe Colours has announced the formation of a Pigment Division. Initial attention will be directed to promoting and expanding the range of mixed metal oxides and spine1 pigments. Additional products to the inorganic pigment range are planned for the future.
