Black and white dating: Why should black women care if white men don’t?

Most people feel strongly about black and white dating, especially interracial relationships between black men white women. This is an issue that has stayed with the black community for so long. But why should black women care that their men are being taken if white men don’t care about their women being taken? Why do black women take black and white dating within their men so personal?

I gotta ask: Has anyone ever heard of a white man disapproving of black and white dating (except maybe in the days of Ku Klux Klan) the way black women do? It may be because black women worry so much about establishing strong home environments for their children to grow in. And then of course, there is the idea of feeling rejected when a well-read black man prefers black and white dating as opposed to finding a fellow black woman to marry.

Looking at the above reasons for frowning at black and white dating, why then do some black women still give the black man in the hood who is a school drop out those stared when he prefers black and white dating?

Maybe white men aren’t really bothered by black and white dating because they have a relatively big pool of successful white women to choose from.

One woman claims that her disapproval of black and white dating comes from the fact that black men don’t express valid appreciation for white women. And much as she knows there are black men who genuinely love the white women they are with, apparently, most say stuff like “white women know their place and don’t complain” while others come up with sexually explicit reasons for their black and white dating.

Well, sincerely speaking, I have never heard of a white man whining about losing their white women to black men. And just to emphasize on that point, some even encourage their wives to seek out black men so they can be sexually satisfied (I am sure you have heard of the Mandingo myth).

Well there is nothing wrong with black and white dating. And if there is any problem, it is the couple’s not anyone else’s business. So if white men don’t care, then maybe its time black women stopped giving black and white dating too much energy. Getting angry wont make black men stop dating white women.

What will one get for bashing someone because of their conscious or unconscious choice to date interracially?
