This is a 30 minute program. Each show will air in a fixed prime time position every other Sunday evening and the same show will repeat 9 times ROS during each two week cycle. Production is estimated to cost $1450 per episode assuming 8-10 hours of field production and post production editing time. Additional production fees may apply for special production elements (i.e. custom music). Payment in advance is required two weeks prior to the air schedule and production of each episode.

(shooting, editing, & travel) $145/hour, additional cameras $30/each/hour * Either party may cancel within 4 weeks notice * Air Dates may be subject to change * There are 4, 5-week months in a broadcast calendar Coverage Area: BLAB TV & all area coverage on WFBD-DT48 - 1 million watts full power Broadcast
(1) Client recognizes that WFBD/BLAB TV is providing only air time for client, and that client is fully responsible for the conduct of all persons appearing on the show. Client recognizes that BLAB TV has no editorial control or authority over the programming. Client hereby agrees to indemnify and hold harmless BLAB TV against any and all claims arising from any claim or suit at law or in equity for the conduct of client, or their guest, for any comments
or actions made on the show. Client also recognizes that the show is disseminated through Cox Cable, Mediacom and/or Bright House, and the aforementioned take no responsibility for, nor editorial control over, the content of the show. Likewise, client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Cox Cable, Mediacom and/or Bright House for any claims arising from the conduct of client or their guest on the show.
(2) This station does not discriminate in the sale of advertising time, and will accept no advertising which is placed with intent to discriminate on the basis of race or ethnicity. Advertiser hereby certifies that it is not buying broadcast air time under this advertising sales contract for a discriminatory purpose, including, but not limited to, decisions not to place advertising on particular stations on the basis of race, national origin or ancestry client.
Any programs produced by BLAB TV shall be owned solely by BLAB TV and shall not be rebroadcast by anyone else. Other arrangements may be made with written permission from BLAB TV

The following are added made to the Programming Agreement:
The Parties shall each comply with Florida Public Records laws. The Parties hereby contractually agree that each Party shall allow public access to all documents, papers, letters, or other public records as defined in Chapter 119, Florida Statutes, made or received by either Party in conjunction with this agreement, or related thereto, unless a statutory exemption from disclosure exists. Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary, it is expressly agreed that failure to comply with this provision, within seven (7) days of notice from the City, shall constitute an immediate and material breach of contract for which the City may, in the City's sole discretion, unilaterally terminate this agreement without prejudice to any right or remedy.
Prevailing Party Attorney's Fees: The prevailing party in any action, claim or proceeding arising out of this contract shall be entitled to attorney's fees and costs from the losing party.
State Law Application. The law of the State of Florida shall be the law applied in the resolution of any action, claim or other proceeding arising out of this matter.

Hi Rebecca,
Every episode costs $1,915 just for the air time. The additional costs of production are estimated within this contract but cannot be definitive for new shows. You are billed on a monthly basis which means you will receive a bill for all episodes within a one month time-frame.
Since you have a new cut off date, that will reduce the number of potential episodes from 10 to 7. I have adjusted the dates in your contract to account for this. This makes sure no reruns will be played after August 14th.
This means the total cost of just the air time will be $13,405. The production is estimated to cost approximately $1,450 per episode which means the estimated (and I emphasize "estimated" because it could be more, it could be less) is $10,150. All in total, air time and production costs come out to approximately $23,555.

That being the case, I have rearranged the dates to run through July 29th, which means the last new show will air Sunday August 3rd and give you the rest of the next two weeks for your reruns, with nothing going after Thursday, August 14th. This leaves you with a 7 episode season as opposed to a 10 episode season.

Two things...since the election will be happening, Tamara needs the cut off to be around August 15. So we need to re organize getting all of the shows done in that time frame. Also, the contract states it is $1915 a month/per episode. I am a little confused. I have to fill out a separate form so I need to know exactly how much this total contract will cost at the end of the day. Can you clarify that? Thanks.
