the LITERACY project aims to raise awareness about the importance o
literacy.
the LITERACY project
What we believe.
We believe that people of all ages should have access to the resources available
to them to improve their literacy.
What we know.
We have been involved with directly working with children on their literacy and
have seen the great and lasting impacts it potentially can have on an individual.
Looking at the statistics of literacy do not provide us for direct causation but the
correlation is strong and impossible to disregard. Illiteracy is something that we
feel we must fight against because it can lower crime rates and strengthen com-
munities.
What we can do.
As designers we are equipped with the skills and training to be able to catch
people’s attention visually. We have the ability to research a problem, make close
observations of target audience and client needs and execute them.
