Lead Consultant:

Charles Oben is an experienced & versatile HR & General Manager professional with

over 25 years of international experience in leading global firms such as Shell

International, Pecten Cameroon Company, United Bank for Africa (UBA) & a Nigerian

based investment boutique firm DLM. He has worked in several countries and has

developed in depth HR expertise in the oil & gas & financial services sectors at senior

leadership positions. He has demonstrated his expertise working across the HR value

chain as well as in Diversity Management & Change Management. Charles has

experience in other business areas including Supply Chain Management,

Procurement, Facilities Management, Marketing& Communication amongst others.

Charles is a highly driven individual who is extremely adept at acquiring and building

talent, having coached and mentored diverse groups and individuals along his

career path. He is a passionate and firm believer that PEOPLE are the key to sustainably

successful businesses. He says that HR practioners have a vital role to play in ensuring

that business leaders can tap from the organizations most strategic assets: People!

He holds a degree in Economics & an MBA in Export Management & International

Business from City University, London. He is a member of CIPM & SHRM.
