BITUKOTE PRIMER is a thin black bitumen priming solution designed to penetrate and seal porous surfaces to provide and prepare a base for waterproofing protective systems.
USES
BITUKOTE PRIMER can be applied to many substrates including metal, slate, concrete, asbestos cement and lightweight concrete screeds, prior to the application of many Bituminous materials including torch-on and self-adhesive bituminous membrane.
BITUKOTE PRIMER seals surfaces prior to further waterproofing treatment; it may impart a degree of water- proofness until further work can be carried out. Other applications include anti-corrosion coating for metal surfaces.

PREPARATIONSurfaces must be dry and clean; free from dust, dirt, grease, moss, lichen or any other foreign matter.
APPLICATIONBITUKOTE PRIMER must be brush applied or spray applied to dry surfaces. Ensure that only an even thin coating is applied. Ensure BITUKOTE PRIMER has fully penetrated the substrate. Prime twice if substrate is porous. Stir well before use. Allow for the solvent to evaporate before application of other materials.
