Singapore has really helped to move the needle on municipal water treatment for a long time, and what they have done very nicely in this conference is to look at industrial water, which is part of everybody’s business. The sessions were thought-provoking, and had deep insights and nice examples of what it takes to help industries become better stewards of their own water.dr Lukas Loeffler President of Water and Wastewater at Schneider Electric and delegate at SIWW Spotlight 2019.

The recycling rate in large industries is currently around 20% and there is certainly room to increase this number through greater adoption of technologies. Technologies are available and have been implemented in sectors like semiconductor, petrochemicals and others. We have been working closely with large water users to manage their water demand, providing technical and funding support for industrial water solutions and water stewardship projects. mr ng Joo hee Chief Executive of PUB, Singapore’s National Water Agency.
