Conghua  Xitou  Village  Located  in  the  middle  of  lush,  green  hills,  is  selected  as  one  of  the  ‘12  most  beau.ful  villages  in  Guangdong  unveiled’.  It  is  an  inspiring  landscape  for  students  to  engage  with  nature  and  the  life  of  rural  villages.  

 

Shiling  Primary  School    This  will  be  the  locaQon  for  our  Service  Project.  A  typical  rural  school  providing  a  basic  educaQon  for  surrounding  farmers’  families

Kayaking    AUer  an  introducQon  and  demonstraQon  by  Indier  Instructors,  you’ll  have  to  take  a  try  on  the  kayaks  at  Liuxi  River!  It  will  be  such  a  great  experience  that  you  may  even  forget  the  Qredness  at  the  end  of  the  day!  

Hiking    Gu@an  -­‐  Xitou  trail  A  combinaQon  of  hills  and  flat  trails.  Hike  through  scene  of  sandy  river  boXoms,  bamboo  forest,  fruit  farms,  old  villages  and  some  other  beauQful  terrain

Biking  We’ll  bike  along  a  newly  constructed  greenway.  The  ride  will  afford  students  the  opportunity  to  see  more  than  a  few  views—and  maybe  spot  some  wildlife.    A  plunge  pool  swim  will  be  refreshing!      

 

 Accommoda@on  Camp  Base  –  Huguang  Hotel  Indier  primarily  use  3  star  hotels  in  ciQes,  while  traveling  in  rural  or  remote  areas,  we  carefully  choose  hostels  /  guesthouses  which  can  ensure  hygiene  and  basic  standard  of  comfort,  though  simple,  accommodaQon.  All  accommodaQon  is  in  triple  or  twin  share  basis  according  to  the  availability.

 

Camping  Students  will  spend  a  night  away  from  the  hotel  camping  and  telling  stories  by  the  fireside!  They  will  cook  for  themselves  and  learn  about  basic  survival  and  orientaQon.        

-­‐Food  style  Breakfast  Chinese  and  Western  style  mixed.    Lunch  &  Dinner  –  Chinese  style  menu  with  special  consideraQon  towards  nutriQonal,  healthy  and  child-­‐friendly  foods.  Packed  lunch  may  be  applied  according  to  the  actual  schedule.  Also  in  an  adventure  learning  program,  students  will  have  opportunity  to  cook  and  learn  kinds  of  cooking  skills.    -­‐   We  will  send  medical  form  to  parQcipants  to  fill  in,  so  our  team  will  know  everyone’s  healthy  condiQon  and  to  avoid  any  sensiQve  food  provided  for  the  meals.  

FOOD  

LOCAL  TRANSPORTATION  We  use  buses  of  varying  size,    from  smaller  19  –  seat  Coasters  to  the  large  55  –  seat    buses.  We  ensure  that  all  of  the  vehicles  are  in  a  reasonably  good  condiQon  and  we  only  use  drivers  who  maintain  a  good  safety  record.
