ASSOCIATION OF MEDICAL OFFICERS OF HEALTH.- The next meeting of this Association will be held at the Scottish Corporation Hall, Crane-court, Fleet-street, to-day (Saturday), at 7.30 P.M., when the discussion will be resumed on Mr. Acton’s paper, entitled, "Supposing the Legislature should determine to recommend the intro- duction of the Contagious Diseases Act among the Civil Population, would it be feasible and possible to carry out its enactments in the Metropolis ? " THE ULSTER OVERCOAT.-We have received from Messrs. MGee, of Belfast, a specimen of this addition to the traveller’s wardrobe, and, from practical experience, we can testify to its very great utility.
