Treat your kids to a unique birthday party at the International Antarctic Centre! A relaxed and hassle-free way to make your child’s special day a memorable one.

Experience real snow and ice, survive an indoor Antarctic Storm, learn about life at Scott Base, and hang out with Little Blue penguins! There’s also the famously exciting Hagglund ride, an awesome simulated 4D cruise, Happy Feet in 4D, plus heaps more!

There are three options to select from for your party:

For all packages party guests will be given special wrist bands to keep as a souvenir of their visit.

For the hosted party packages the first hour will be spent in the attraction with your party host. Food is served one hour after the party start time in the designated party room, and the room is available for 45 minutes. After eating, guests are welcome to explore the attraction at leisure.

Base package $220 Covers six children and one adult with flexible booking times.

Extra child $35

Extra adult $35

Includes:

• General Admission to the attraction (includes Hagglund & 4D movies)

• Gift and a certificate for the birthday child

• Goody bags for all party guests

There is no set time for the standard party package, you can select a time that works for your group. You will be welcomed by a guide before exploring the attraction at leisure. You will be given a Hagglund ride time as well as suggested times for the 4D movies and Antarctic storm.

HOSTED PARTY PACKAGEA hosted party in our designated party room including party food options before exploring the attraction with your host.

Base package $320 Includes entry for six children and one adult. Select from 10am, 12pm or 2pm party times.

• A dedicated party host/guide

• Gift and a certificate for the birthday child

• Antarctic themed party room for 45 minutes

PREMIUM HOSTED PARTY PACKAGEA hosted party in our designated party room including party food options and a visit from our Antarctic mascot, before exploring the attraction with your party host.

Bookings are confirmed once a $150 deposit has been made. Cancellations must be made 7 days prior to the party for a full refund. Final numbers must be confirmed 4 days before the booking and balance must be paid before the party date. Any children that do not show up on the day are non-refundable.
